Caucasian Turks: white
Turks from Central asia whellow (whitish yellow)
Turks from the rest of Anatolia: Every colour and shade under the sun, since they mixed with all the other ethnicities during the ottoman empire, and couldnt be pure unless they are inbred::

Yes, the Azeri's are known to be fair colored eyes and even blonde when compared to Iranians and their other neighbors. To me, it dispells the myth that Turks looked asiatic. Even Gagaoguz Turks, and Tatars are caucauoid looking so, Turks were not majority Asiatic. The portion that looks more so are the Kazaks. And that is b/c of of marriage with the Mongols.
Even in Kazakstan, they have people with green eyes and light hair.
Unlike the Japense, Chinese, Korean and the other oriental nations which have no colored eyes, hair color, and no "white" features.

Anyways, the Oguz Turks are the most caucaoid looking and it includes Azeris, Turks of Turkey, and Gagaoguz Turks.

I am not an expert on Turkish genetics etc so Im not 100% sure I agree 100% completly with HB'S assertion. But I would say based on logic to a certain degree it definitly makes sense considering the ethnic admixture that Turkey has had.
However Im not certain that there are not light looking Turkics as I have read about some Turkic tribes being described as light skinned and green eyed in historical accounts.
As another example I have seen some pics of very green eyed looking Azeri's in Iran. I have also seen some very light skinned and green eyed Afghans some very very caucasoid looking.

Oh, that topic will be neverending haha Anyways, the soap operas is very popular with Halit Ergenc and Songul Oden. Their extravagant lives maybe unreal, the actors are pretty typical though.

Western Turkey. I think she looks pretty Turkish actually - high cheekbones, her eye is almond shaped...Maybe the Slavic looking portion is her forehead is huge!
I notice a lot of Russians look like that.

Not necessarily. She looks like a Russian or Ukranian, with certain central Asian, perhaps Tartar intermixture. There are many Russians Ive run across with such features.

Yeah, Russians are actually very mixed and have Asiatic features.
I haven't seen Russian/Ukrain that look like her, however, I'm sure there are.
