sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Surprisingly-Sasha-Vujacic-and-Goran-Dragic-are?urn=nba,242203 Ball Don't Lie Wed May 19, 2010 4:10 pm EDT Surprisingly, Sasha Vujacic and Goran Dragic are not best friendsBy Trey Kerby The NBA is a league chock full of intense rivalries. Some we know about, like the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers' long-standing feud, or LeBron James(notes) and Paul Pierce's(notes) distaste for each other. Some are kept under wraps, such as Paul Pierce and Quentin Richardson's(notes) mysterious mutual animosity. And some are just hilarious, like DeShawn Stevenson(notes) against the entire Cleveland Cavaliers franchise and also non-tattooed skin. Thankfully, we can add another to that last category, because apparently Goran Dragic(notes) and Sasha Vujacic(notes) hate each other. If you thought Slovenians stuck together, think again. From the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro: Suns guard Goran Dragic had never even met countryman Sasha Vujacic of the Lakers until they faced off in a NBA game last season but senses discord. "We have something between us going, rivalry or something," Dragic said. "Every game, he pressures me so hard and I try to penetrate. I would say it is personal. I don't know why but maybe because last year we were together on the national team and they didn't pick him to be on the 12-player (roster for European Championship). I don't care if it's personal. I just know I want to win the game against LA. If he's going to play like that, I just have to adjust." As The Baseline's Eric Freeman says, this is instantly the NBA's most hilarious rivalry. It's hard to disagree, and I'm very thankful for it. Ever since the Wizards' demise and Stevenson's trade to the Mavericks, we've needed someone to step in and fill the void for one-sided catfights. So we should all thank Vujacic, because you know he's the one that started this. Catching wind of this feud means we have to reconsider everything we think we know about foreign imports to the NBA. I've always kind of assumed that Hedo Turkoglu(notes) and Mehmet Okur(notes) spent a lot of time in Turkish nightclubs together, just dancing and having a great time. If that's not true, I'm not sure what I'll do. Next thing you know, we're going to find out Anderson Varejao(notes) and Leandro Barbosa(notes) don't play futból together back in Brazil. That's depressing just to think about.

Dragic supposedly has a Serbian father according to the limited research I did online.
Dragic is going to be a good player in the NBA, could even become a good starter in a few years. Vujacic is a scrub that get's under ppl's skin. He's the type of guy you hate if he's not on ur team, but you wouldn't mind him if he was on your team.

Gomila Srba igra tamo. Ko radi taj i gresi. ;D www.rts.rs/page/sport/sr/story/37/Ko%C5%A1arka/686931/Arizona+slavi+Dragi%C4%87a

I kakvi su to administrativni problemi bili sa Vujacicem?

a agent from europe that has helped me out in the past told me the story of nestorovic and why he plays for slovenia instead of serbia, and he says when he was young he had a better chance getting to fame in slovenia on their national team than serbia.

Just tell me how many top class guards has Serbia produced in last 5 years? ONE! Only Teodosic. So there are 5-6 empty spots. Nesterovic story can't be compared to these other 2 Slovenians because: 1)We never had problems in C position; 2) Rasho didn't had luck to play at same time as Divac, Tomasevic etc If basketball association can't have talent scouting for Serbian players abroad then they better retire and give functions to someone who can do the job better. Beside all credit for recent accomplishments should exclusively go to coach Ivkovic

Umm how many serbian players have played in top euro leagues and in the nba compared to "slovenian" ones?
Can't compare.
Was there ever a slovenian superstar in the nba like ummm let's see stojakovic or divac?
Face it serbs do it better.
Don't get me wrong slovenia is a great country for ball and will be a powerhouse but for now its not comparable.
