where we see that there are a lot of physical similarities between Balkanians ... I can see some crossovers with countries bordering each other but, I see some big differences between some teams too. Some observations: - (Most) Turks look nothing like Balkan people. - Some Balkan people look like Turks (only a few). - Greeks look fairly distinct from Balkan people too. - Serbs look very central European to me (I would have thought they were Austrians) - I take back what I said about Albanians looking like Turks, they don't. They still look different to other Balkan people though. Fyromskis are so close geographicaly but are very different from Greeks, relatively. I agree but, a few of them could easily fit into the Greek team.

For the sake of comparison, here are a few other countries. I don't know if some of these can be directly compared because the Romanians and Italians pictures are taken outdoors in the sun, which makes them look fairer. Italy

That's because Balkan Slavs(excluding Bulgarians and Macedonians) are genetically most closest to Germanic tribes you can find more info at: dnatribes.com

- Serbs look very central European to me (I would have thought they were Austrians) None of serbs look central european (only Krasic looks very slavic), there i see alot "Pontid" elements...this type is common among Bulgarians, Macedonians, South Ukrainans, South East Romanians, Georgians ect. Like central Europeans are Slovenians and some Bosnaks/Croats.

PrijesDardanian, I disagree. Most of those Serbs from picture could fit in for some central European people

Can you be a little more specific? Like, point me to the article that states what you claimed?
