Davutoglu’s book a best-seller in Greece Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoðlu’s nine-year-old book “Strategic Depth” placed among the top five best-selling books in Greece just 12 days after its Greek translation was published. Davutoglu’s 845-page book, released in Greek by Piotita Publishers on July 1, has already become a favorite of Greek readers, the Greek daily To Vima reported on Tuesday. The book outlines in detail Turkish foreign policy priorities and is believed to constitute the foundation and basis of the current Turkish foreign policy. Davutoglu’s book extensively covers Turkey’s relations with Greece, Greek-Turkish disputes during the Cold War and the Cyprus problem. The daily described the quick sales of the book as “remarkable.” Speaking to the Anatolia news agency, Piotita Publishers officials said the book goes for 30 euros and that the publishing house plans to offer an official promotion in the fall. The first edition of the book was published in 7,000-copy run that has been distributed to bookstores countrywide. 14 July 2010, Wednesday www.todayszaman.com/tz-web/detaylar.do?load=detay&link=215976 TODAY’S ZAMAN ÝSTANBUL

i bought it. i haven't read it yet. Neo-ottomanism of Turkey is the best that could happen for Greece. Kemalism and Ottomanism are two totaly different things that cannot resolve their issues piecefully.... and finally Turkey shows its real face to the rest of the world. its militarist, authoritarian, medieval, steppes-nomad-mongol face... and of course we wait its balkan-osmanli offspring(bosnaks, arnavuds etc) to follow Turkey's lead... good choise...
