"They won't allow Kosovo into the UN.. they wont recognize them.. because that would mean risking losing some of its own breakaway regions. Its Russia's interests at stake."
Lets wait and see how the US will lose control of its southern states and be bitten on the A$$ so badly by its frankenstein experiment. There are a numer of reasons why Russia will never vote for this sham:
- Yes, it too has a large islamic population - Doesn't want to lose its foot in the Balkans - Slavic sympathy and religious sympathy (traditional ally) - Serbia is a strategic path for its gas energy supply - Wants to prevent the US from encircling them

It was just what Serbia did, hence why Miloshevich was killed in the Hague. Signing this SHAM called Rambouet meant giving up complete sovereigty to the worlds Devil, it would have been another Ottoman occupation for us. Milosehevich was right, we really DID WIN, you idiots signed up and are a colony of the United States and other Western powers, you are their slaves......suck eggs!. They can feed you guys now ;D

All small states need a big power sponsor otherwise small states wouldn't exsist. Serbia and bulgaria where both overwhelmingly supported by the russian empire and hundred of thousands of russian soldiers died freeing bulgaria and if wasnt for russia serbia wouldnt have gained the freedom it gained at the congress of berlin.
As for being a colony thats a diffrent matter can you give us some examples of how kosovo is a colony of the united states how kosovo is being exploited and getts nothing in return. Because i can tell you how Serbia had to bend over to russia in order to get russia to threatean there veto they sold them controlling stake in serbias oil and gas compny and at rock bottom prices what a great "friendship" you have with the russians.

An albanian writer said that small states are created out of the misfortunes of large ones. which is true looking at the collapse of Yugoslavia and Soviet Union and the decay of the Ottoman empire. The borders of Europe that now exist with an indepdent kosovo will be around for along time unless there is some catastrophic political event in Europe and the world. Nobody would have allowed Yugoslavia to break up or kosovo to become indepdent during regular periods of time but when the soviet union fell Papa Bush wanted a new world order as he is quoted as saying so the state department and its allies started redrawing the map of Europe. This map is final unless you there is a catstraphe like we all join the EU and the EU falls apart then you may have a shot of trying to colonize kosovo again. you can always hope. Serbia/Yugoslavia would've completely surrendered it's sovereignty by doing so, which is exactly my point. In any case it was an ultimatum and ultimatums are basically illegal since the alternative to not complying with ultimatums is war.

You have to read between the lines my friend "You also know the procedures required to join the UN: a recommendation of the Security Council is required for that first of all, and the balance of forces in the Security Council is evident," He didn't say Russia would block he just stated that it requires the secuirty councils approval if its going to pass. Thats why Kosovo is going to attempt to join when it has the recognition of about 120 member states because once all these country support a resoultion making kosovo a member of the UN it goes to the security council then russia CAN block it but it WONT block it because it very bad politics. 2/3 of the worlds countries support a resolution and then Russia vetos it its not going to happen That would be very bad politics because as soon as you veto the resolution you are put at odds with 120 countries the overwhelming majority it would be strategic mistake. i heard this from a senior UN diplomat in interview. This is how Kosovo will become a member of the UN. To replace 1244 its difffrent and much harder that why he said dont hold your breath. Your just attempting to add something that isn't there. There is no hidden meaning in the article and anyone reading it will see it for what it is. No UN seat for Kosovo. Simple.

^ There is nothing hidden as you say, unless there is a drastic change in China's and Russia's foreign policy.

As a side note I hope Pristina will join the EU (even though it never will) so all the Shqiptars there migrate someplace else. Come to think of it I hope Tirana joins the EU.
