Many Romanians choose Greece as their summer destination, but I hear that the services there are getting worse and many choose Turkey instead. Turkey, they say, is more expensive, but it's well worth it. I suppose it's about quality.
What is your say on this? Have your services getting worse? I also heard Athens is very crowded and people are rude. On the islands, people get drunk, vomit and wiseguys drive fast cars.

No, Greece is awesome. Greece is one of the best tourist destinations in the world. People getting drunk? Driving fast cars? THIS SOUNDS LIKE MY KIND OF PLACE! THAT IS A FACT.

I'm pretty sure the opposite is true, I was in Turkey this summer and it was pretty cheap there with food prices and accommodations as well as transportation.

The travel to Turkey is more expensive from Romania. I'm not sure why. The distance is pretty much the same to both countries.
Rhodos is nice, I hear. You can visit the Turkish fortress over there. Very nice, indeed.

That's not a Turkish fortress. It's Venetian. I've been there.
You can read about it in any web site or travel book...wtf? Trolling again?

Well, Turks built the Rumeli Hisari in Istanbul......and many others throughout Turkey Turkey is much more beautiful than Greece. Much more things to do, and much larger. Turkey is beautiful and is not as expensive as Greece b/c the Euro is pricey. You can stay in an all inclusive hotel for like $100 a night per person. But if you come from Russia, it's like $25 a night! Ridiculously cheap! Not fair for Turks, b/c they don't get the cheap rates the tourists get.

Turkey also has a lot of other ancient ruins like the Hittites, Lydian, Lycians and others.
Romans ruins are everywhere too.

I'm surprised that from Romania Turkey is more expensive than Greece. I bet it's based upon the tour companies agreements, as it's so cheap for Russians, which is way further away.

Without doubt Turkey is a beautiful country...but only in the west. From Ankara on the country is simply desert like until the border in the east...
Greece on the other hand is everywhere beautiful..the landscapes of Greece and western Turkey are the same actually...despite its size I dare to say that Greece is almost as various as Turkey...first of all Greece is full of islands...each island has its own character...each of them is an innate world...
Also...Turkey is a poorer country...which means you will find there different hygyene-conditions from Greece...for example I have several friends who came back from Turkey with various infections from the ground water...or even with fungal attacks. Such incidents are as good as nonexistent in Greece.
Greece is clearly Europe....its more modern...Turkey is more backward...the people more exotic...its no bad place, to me one of the most beautiful countries in the world...but dont say its better than Greece...its not.

Actually, Turkey is more beautiful has an entire country than Greece, not just the west.
And Turkey is not identical to Greece's landscape.
You got Black sea, you'll see mountains and greenery much more pretty than the Austrian alps!
Go to Antalya coastline and you have the green ocean and the mountains alltogether.
Istanbul is the most beautiful city in the world to me.
go to Kapadokya you'll see ferry chimmney's surrounded by an unseen landscape.
Go to Southeast - Urfa, you'll see a totally different city.
Turkey has a huge industry, which Greece doesn't have. In terms of backwardness, actually Turks are hardworking, and Greeks are lazy which shows today.
Go to Istanbul & you'll see shops open day and night, and on weekends. No one takes a siesta.
I go to Turkey every year and never get sick.

Actually Greece is dry. Look at the Marmaris Bodrum Ayvalik coastlines, we have so many trees everywhere.

Is that why you came here and stated your biased opinion?
re-read some of the stuff you've posted, eg. Turks are whiter than Greeks and now Turkey is better than Greece.
You either have a complex, or you are cognitively challenged.
