The modern Albanian flag was a revival of the Arberesh flag brought to the Malesors by Arberesh/Albanian nationalist Terenzio Tocci www.jemi.it/personaggi-san-cosmo-albanese-1708/1078-terenzio-tocci-un-arbsh-e-i-balcaniHe landed in Albania in order to start an anti-Ottoman uprising among the Christian Malesore clans of the north in order to fulfil the classical romantic Arberesh notion of the "rikthim" (return) inwhich they would come back to their old lands to free them from Ottoman control.

Just like Ali's head .... it's still a copy of the Byzantine symbol and a sign of Orthodoxy.... Now weather or not you accept that it doesn't really matter... You can go right ahead and make up anything that pleases you... It's alright we understand.

No. It was already officialy the flag of the Greek navy since 15 March 1822 and continued to be the Navy Flag till 1974. These are other versions prior to the Revolution : Kallergis family emblem, one of the 12 Constantinopolitan families(archontes) that moved to Crete in the 10th century and still survive: Canaris own revolutionary flag: the original Canaris' flag:

Modern Greece is not only the heir of ancient Greece but also Byzantium. The double headed eagle was used by the medieval Greeks just like it is still used by the Greek army and Greek church to this day.

Modern Greece is not only the heir of ancient Greece but also Byzantium. The double headed eagle was used by the medieval Greeks just like it is still used by the Greek army and Greek church to this day. In my holy albanian language byzantine (Bizan) means roman people that been using Awl (Biza) as an instrument to open hole to the slaves ear for putting ring and make them roman's servers permanently. Byzantine (Bizantine) is related to the albanian word Biza which that means Awl. Biza=Awl Biza=Bizan=Bizantine Byzantine=Romans The two head eagle flag means peace between east and west which that always been alb-illyrians symbol and flag. Truly, Myself, URANOS MystAgogu !!! The Double headed eagle is oriental in origin, I think, but the Romans used it to replace the Aquila standard (single-headed eagle). Its origin is neither Greek nor Roman but it represents the Roman Empire. Its on the whole a Christian symbol to Europe. Albanian lords of the middle ages used it to symbolise their connections to the Roman Empire, in both a general "christian inheritor" and physical one over the land. It gave legitimacy. Almost all Albanian lords used it, from Dukagjin in the north to Kastriot in central and Araniti in the middle-south... its found in all of their standards. Except the Bua family, which simply had a Greek cross as a flag.

Hellenestic era sure Romans were barbarians but remember those barbarians fucked the whole ballkans and civilized Greeks up. Greeks like to claim roman empire theirs but remember you were a tol in that empire just like any other nation that was occupied by them.
I belive we were talking about double headed eagle not being Greek but eastern in origin adopted by Romans.

It was the Hellenistic Age then the Roman then the Greek Byzantine era... then you showed up..... and sold your asses to the highest bidder.... now go crawl back under the rock you came from..
