According to announcements, the Croatian president and commander in chief has made the decision in accordance with that country's Constitution and law.
The rank of lieutenant-general was revoked from Glavaš, Norac and Zagorac and the rank of colonel from Orešković and Rimac.
The decision came into effect the day it was made. Josipović signed it on September 9 and it was published in the Official Gazette yesterday.

The rank was revoked from Zagorac in connection with the ruling of the Supreme Court of Croatia which had sentenced him to seven years in jail for abuse of position and authority.

Rimac lost his rank because of the ruling of the Municipal Court in Zagreb which had sentenced him to eight years in prison for murder.

Ha ha ha Good job Jovane!! And Jovan would be..? ---- Either way, its all a political move. It put Croatia in a light that the west favors. That's all there is to it.
