A Bosnian court sentenced a Croatian parliament deputy to eight years in prison on Wednesday.
Branimir Glavas moved to Bosnia last year to avoid a sentence by a Croatian court for war crimes during the breakup of the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s.
A Croatian court sentenced Glavas to 10 years over the 1991 torture and killing of Serb civilians in his native town of Osijek.
Glavas escaped to Bosnia where he was protected from extradition as a Bosnian passport holder.
However, Bosnia and Croatia signed an agreement on extradition in February which allowed the Bosnian police to arrest Glavas.
