What exactly did you expect with the statement that you posted: its funny how just a handfull of youtube vids glorify a dark past
Maybe if the albanians did something heroic (that was recognized worldwide <--worldwide and not in tiny siptar heads), you would understand.
So I think Patrinos's response is very befitting given your sarcastic remark.

Explain 'dark past' comment.... i think greek world war role history has been grossly overestimated, by greeks that is. they certainly did not engage in the epic level of combat that they claim to have done, their intentions of expansion and to occupy territory were their primary drive for war and also to cleanse enthic pockets and rid themselves of minority, the italian war has been grossly and deliberately juiced up, italians were retreating then u chased their shadows into albanian territory and used that as an excuse to claim south albania only you met with a hostile local population, then when u weren't unable to sutain it u labelled albanians as collaborators which there is no evidence of, war was just an excuse to set up ur misguided orthodox country like in the fables u had always learnt.

In the following campaign the Greeks and their British and ANZAC allies defended Greece heroically. 3-The airborne invasion of Crete was the last use of para troopers by Hitler since his forces suffered high casualties against the Greeks and their allies the British and the ANZAC's. Even Greek civilians were using pitch forks against the parachuting Germans. 4- Greece had a full scale resistance, numerious Greek partisan groups sprang up. At Gorgopotamos bridge 120 Greek partisans lead by a team of British commando's (One was an ex Greek soldier) blew up a bridge that cut supply lines to North Africa. 5-The Greeks fought in North Africa at el alamein, they had a battalion called the sacred band. Greek shipping also helped the British navy. 6- Leaders from boths sides commented on how heroic the Greek soldiers fought, naming just two Winston Churchil and even Adolf Hitler.

The Albanians even deny something that happened 65 years ago and there is video footage to prove.... Go ask the more than 75 thousand dead Italians...

i did not deny it, don't twist my words, i said the role of the greek army was grossly overestimated, it was a marginal role at best and it had much much sinister role.
