It's really not that interesting since the source of the data is World Christian Encyclopedia, 2001. Nor is there any mention how many people were surveyed, from which regions the people were surveyed, age groups and etc. To put it bluntly, I wouldn't trust the source.
The figures are unkown until a true census comes about.

Ottoman empire had the Albanians in occupation for 500 years and we are still Albanian, the only thing we got from ottomans is the religion (which i don't like) and trouble, nothing more. Are you trying to say that Albanians were turks coz last time i checked you were saying that we are from Asia brought here by ottomans, but you never said that we were ottomans, whats your point?

Are you trying to say that Albanians were turks coz last time i checked you were saying that we are from Asia brought here by ottomans, but you never said that we were ottomans, whats your point? My point is this: " The Albanians who have been shedding their blood for the empire for the last five hundred years, do not want its perdition, even though they realise it is determined to destroy itself and be cut up among its enemies. The Albanians will continue to the very end to spill their blood for the empire and will maintain their allegiance as they have in the past. When they finally obtain a good government, one which is sufficiently stabilized, they will then be able to assist Turkey more and better. "( Sami Frasheri. Η'ka qene, η'eshte e η'do tλ behete? Mendime per shpetimt te mλmedheut nga reziket qe e kane rethuare, Bucharest 1899. Translated from the Albanian by Robert Elsie)

By the "assists by the Albanians for the empire" Frasheri meant the Janissary that were taken from their homes by force since they were little kids. Before the independent day of Albania in 1912 in Albania there were more Albanians in the turk army then turks, i know and admit it, but they never fought for turk interests, after the independence day they all joined Ismail Qemali, so they betrayed the empire coz the empire were against the independence of Albania. However Frasheris "Shqiperia c'ka qene, c'eshte dhe c'do te behet" its very good book, and if you read it all you will see his point, if albanians walked the path he showed in his book we would be much better right now.

If Albania was geographically close to Turkey Albanians would still shed their blood for the Empire not because of the Jannisaries corps but because Osman bayrak was their motivation...

The Albanians where not forced to fight for the Ottoman Empire. Albanians would willingly fight wars and shed their blood for the Ottoman Empire, this is a well known fact. Even during the early 20th century there were Albanians fighting along side the Ottomans in Asia Minor and the Balkans. Don't forget that Albanians share a common faith with the Turks. The Albanians have had a staunch alliance with Ottoman Empire ever since the 17th century when the Albanians willingly adopted Islam to further there place in the Ottoman governing system, over 40 Viziers where of Albanian origins. Mohammad Ali of Egypt was of Albanian origins, his son Ibrahim Pasha committed various atrocities against the Christian population of Greece, during Greece's War of Independence. The army of Dramali consisted a substantial amount of Muslim Albanians, this army was swiftly defeated by the rebellious Greeks.

Okey, this i dont get very clear, even greeks know that albanians helped them on the independence way from the ottomans and now you say we killed greeks in the name of the ottoman empire. Did you repay the favor we did for you? NO. Besides you didn't helped ( I am okay with that, if you dont want to help its you choice) you tried in many ways to stop the albanians to declare themselves independent.
