money.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=8192263Romania legalises witchcraft as a professionRomania has amended its employment laws and declared witchcraft a legal profession in an effort to stamp out tax evasion and help it out of an economic crisis. The country is currently in the grip of a crippling recession and the government of Prime Minister Emil Boc is looking to close a number of loopholes which allow people who claim to have supernatural powers to earn an income while avoiding taxes. The new legislation also recognises astrologists, embalmers, valets and driving instructors as legitimate occupations for taxation purposes. Witchcraft is popular in Eastern Europe and not surprisingly the move has drawn criticism from those who practice it, with one witch reportedly threatening a spell in retaliation. The witch named Bratara told a Romanian website that she planned to cast a spell using black pepper and yeast to create discord within the government.

They have to legalize historic theft as a profession as well. Judging by the last post of Diur in the Turkey forum, anyone with shameless effort of stealing neigbour's history should be given a lifelong state pension.
