Have you read any statistics concerning the number of Albanian immigrants that reside in Greece those days?
Also,do you happen to know how many of your compatriots have abandoned Greece because of the current economic crisis?
I'm very curious to know guys. What surprizes me VERY much is the fact that i rarely hear Albanian speaking people any more.Due to the decline of constructions in greek cities many foreign workers have left.
I supose that many Albanians still remain in the countryside, working for the agriculture.

Rexxy statistics : they say 700k-800k in Greece a good 10% of them have blended in with home and business ownership less Albanian being spoken ? maybe they just choose to speak Greek when they see you you must be in Policeman uniform ........................................... have to admit though ,many from Albania that I have met in USA are very adaptable and seek out education, work and or Businesses of all sorts.....their determination is high.... us Albanians from outside Albania accomplish also but seems that our Alb brothers from Albania are on some fast-track system ;D they get there faster and with no tolerance/room for disappointments hmmm makes me see how Albs moved up in other empires throughout our history

well I remember reading during the summer various articles on albanians leaving Greece and returning to Albania. I believe we even discussed it here. Overall the situation on Greece will have an effect on Albania and the rest of the Balkans. But we just aren't in debt hell
