Uz fyrom is in same position as Kosova for the time being. Neither can be touched. As far as west policy changing 10-20 years down road, then who knows. There is a difference - Macedonia is a full fledged member of the UN and our consitutional name is recognised by USA, Russia, China and 130+ other members of the UN. Kosovo remains an occupied Serbian province.

They're always going to fuck with us in the Balkans. Until we can all agree on what the real problem is, we are always going to have these nonsense "ethnic" issues.

Recognition wouldn't mean s**t, if Serbia woke up and fought the right battle. As long as Serbia has got the veto influence in all major institutions (through China/Russia/) those recognition are only candy for you.
Not to mention the EU vetoes.

^More recognitions are coming. Serbia is just trying to wrestle away the north, which I dont care about. To me it's about the people, fuck the land.

Chernozemski was an ethnic Bulgarian, as were all true Macedonian patriots.
They are celebrated in both R. Macedonia and Bulgaria, however, the Macedonian government styles them as "ethnic Macedonians", which they were not.

An ethnic Bulgarian is any person that genuinely identifies as Bulgarian.

This type of thing happens on both sides. It's primitive behaviour but I hardly think Macedonians are above such actions.
Best thing to do is to not be offended, and move on.

What's a ethnic Bulgarian, Tartar? Modern day Chuvash and Kazan Tartars claim descent from the Volgar Bulgars. Tartarstan was known as Bolgaristan until 1919. Most of the Slavic population of Bulgaria also claim descent from the Bulgars, when in fact they are a mixture of Bulgar, Slav and Thracian blood lines. They carry the Bulgar name as this was the state-forming people of the time.

Yes, the govt but not the people. Kosovo is a Serbian province populated in recent times by shiptars and protected by NATO. If YU wars began in Kosovo, you guys would have been removed from the province, and the west would have just watched.

Albs in the Balkans are on the rise as our neighbors have lost most of the advantages they held over us a century ago, its as simple as that. Even if there was a strong Russia and a weak America it still wouldn't matter much, we're still a lot stronger than we were.

On the rise? How so? "From the European Heritage Alliance. WWW.EUROHERITAGE.NET Albania is one of the two poorest nations in Europe, second only to Moldova, and is akin to walking through a surly slum in Central America or Mexico outside of its capital of Tiranë. It is also the sole Islamic nation of Europe. It emerged from nearly five decades of autarkic communist dictatorial rule under Enver Hoxha (Hod-ja) into a struggling and corrupt democratic state by 1992. This drastic transition of this relatively young geographically-European nation is apparent in its depressing and deep poverty. It and its ethnic group (Albanians) are seemingly hated all across Europe as backward criminals who settle in other nations to receive their social benefits. Their identity as Muslims also fuels this clash, as Albania was the only state of Europe to fully submit to the Jihad of the Turks during 400 years of foreign rule...."

The source you posted shows that you know shit about Albanians or Albania.
To answer you question, two things, mainly being educated and being connected to the outside world.
