There is nothing for me to prove... The evidence is there. Pelasgian is related to albanian. It is of course possible that our neo-greeks have picked up some things in thousands of years.

Yes, Morea must be Slavic coming from word "more" which means "sea". I composed a list of known Greek cities and geographical sites(and their translations):
(complex word) Athens---> Atina ---> a ti na = "and you on" Sporades ---> Spor? a di? = "Slowpoke? where?" Thessaloniki ---> Solun ---> "sol u n" = "Salt in n"
(linear words) Kozani = "goat-people" Patras ---> Vatra = "fire/flame" Zagoria ---> Zagorje = "under the hill" Tripolis ----> Tripovi = "tripping"
And my personal favourite: Seres ---> Sereš = "You're full of shit"
Pyrros, sorry if I missed some ;D

It was named after the mulberry, the silk trade in the Morea in the middle ages was very important.

Morea was what the Greeks/ Byzantines of the middle ages called the Peloponnese. It was named after the mulberry, the silk trade in the Morea in the middle ages was very important. It was supposed to be a joke so you think it is unlikely that Morias comes from more, when pre-1926 there were over 1000 SERBIAN placenames in Morias?? fast proof : 1) after 1927 : kroraina.com/knigi/en/mv/index.html (click on the regions of Morias, and count --> more than 400+) 2) before 1926 : pandektis.ekt.gr/pandektis/handle/10442/4968 (put any non-serb toponym of morias you may find.... type it in the field and press go.... you will find its Serbian name pre-1926) e.g. Elatos in arkadia... was Dragalevo before 1926 : pandektis.ekt.gr/pandektis/handle/10442/170767

Well, it seems the pics I posted are the ultimate proof of Albanians being the direct descendants of the great Pelasgians.
As for why Athens was made the Capital: Why wouldn't it be? It was the Arvanites who rebelled, fought and defeated the Turks. It was the Arvanites who had the power, it was the Arvanites that controlled the newborn state.

Tough chance You're probably thinking about Slavs from Macedonia and Bulgarians. Yes, they probably still live there, but their population is dwindling, its not as you think. Those people lived in small villages, not cities. Many moved after 1910's either to Bulgaria or(at that time) Serbia. Anyway, they lived just in northern parts of Greek Macedonia, nothing close to Peloponnese

PS2 In the links i provided in my previous post, the EVIDENCE is SELF-CONTAINED !!! you do not need anything external look up or source to verify EXACTLY what i wrote... about PELOPONESE=MORIAS=MOST SOUTHERN PART OF GREECE.. Your act, to just bypass that so easily, pissed me off... that was not an accurate Serbian action of precision... and you are supposed to go to the uni, right??? Sometimes you think not with your brain....
