Even Putin reacted strangely after the priest kissed his hand. That's fucked up regardless.
However, Putins Russia will be a powerhouse and I think big changes will occur.

My reference to 'garbage' is the lay of the land. It is garbage!! People throw away throw stoves, cars etc in a forest next to the village. What's that all about? Of course, for a westerner seeing that it's a bit shocking. Hey looks like you were correct. I was reading some travel blogs and came across this: "" Litter is a real problem in ...... and nobody seems to care, as I was walking round the roads near the hostel a guy walked past me with a wheelbarrow full of rubble as he was building a house. He crossed the road with Beratthe barrow and proceeded to dump it all the riverbank. There was a whole mound of rubble in the area, such a shame. When I was at the castle I walked to one of the battlements and as I looked down there were thousands of plastic bottles that had just been dumped over the wall. ""Got that quote from here. Those uncivilized Balkanians. www.travelblog.org/Europe/Albania/West/Berat/blog-636711.html

its the same all over all slav lands in the balkans except : - vojvodina-croatia-bosnia-slovenija (austrian influence) - partly Sofia - Bulgaria (Russian influence)
the rest of balkan suck in this regard. But i still think that albania, and greece are the champions in dirt. I mean the slavs can at least have a clean square or city center. That's inconceivable for a greko-alb.

and there is no dirt in mak? It's no different to the rest of the Balkans and eastern Europe in general. But it's part of the culture. I remember when I first immigrated to Australia as a kid and throwing trash anywhere I pleased at first but I quickly learned it's not acceptable here. So the people there will have to be taught in a similar fashion.
