I'm jealous of all the travelling you do Pyrros. Do you notice much of a difference between the people so far south in Macedonia and the northern Greeks just over the border?

^^^ the northest i got was vojvodina. there are some slovaks and russians there, if that counts as "north". But it it in my plans to go over all the Slavic countries if i can. I think Ukraine/Russia/Bjelorussia would be very interesting to go.

Its a mix of Swedish and Russian influences! By the way in front of the cathedral in Helsinki there is a monument of Tzar Liberator (Alex II). He gave them authonomity and us - liberation! I thought to myself: what a great man for Europe, his monuments stand from the most northern EU state to the most southern. Of course the biggest Orthodox cathedral in Western Europe - Uspenska cathedral stands there! So amazing!

Yeah, I am thinking of visiting Ukraine sometime in the future as well. I just need to get better at my Ukrainian. Do you speak any other languages besides Serbian? my serbian is lousy. I can only speak basic things, not have a discussion on politics, economics, etc... but i can speak basic stuff in the market, gas station, ask for directions, give directions, etc.... I cannot read newspaper without heavy use of the dictionary.

You mean Car Osvobotitel? the main street which is orthogonal to Rakovski str, and passes in front of the parliament in Sofia? Man, I miss Sofia..... God have you all good there. hmmmmmm also i didn;t know all that stuff about Finland.... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Then again, Fins with the ahtisari plan against Kosovo slavs (Serbs) showed that they have a small memory.... and now are playing the bitches of the west.

Ne nikada. Pokusavam da naucim SrpskoHrvatski sto po sto sami. Preko knjiga, rjecnicima, etc... I'm just gonna help you out a little bit here. Use "sam" for masculine singular, and "sami" for plural, when you use present tense. To demonstrate: Ja sam sam/sama : I am alone(masculine/feminine) Ti si sam/sama : You are alone(m/f) On je sam : He is alone Ona je sama : She is alone Ono je samo : It is alone Mi smo sami : We are alone Vi ste sami: You are alone Oni su sami: They are alone(masculine) One su same: They are alone(femenine) Ona su sama: They are alone(this form is usually used for kids) also write "posto" as one word

You mean Car Osvobotitel? yes. Alexander II of Russia. Yes the so called "yellow paving-stones" (jultite paveta) is named after Tsar Liberator. That old part is very charming, maybe because it was build at the times of the Tsars. However Helsinki is magnificent! And really you can sense the Russian influence. Helsinki probably looks like Russia who got lucky, but of course there is alot of Nordic characters... It reminded me of Netherlands too.

"ja sam sam"? dva puta? ne volim!
