Ovo je objava za sve Srbe ovde na IllyriaBoards, nas narod polako nestaje - zbog abortusa, asimilacije i nesloge
Svi mi volimo nasu kulturnu blagu i rod - i znamo da mozemo poboljsati svetu --
Zato imajte dece!
With that said here's the video I just saw and made me think alot about the situation and how serious it is.
Novi I know you're married to a Portuguese lady, but that doesn't stop you from having 3 or more children and teaching them and raising them in the Serbian way!!
Orthodoxy not catholic! Same for you Uz, and Vinjak, I know I don't have to mention Pyrros.
Poz braco

Serbs don't want to have babies because the economic situation is shit. Its understandable, I would love to have 3 or 4 children some day but if I can't support, then I'm sure as hell not having children for the sake of having children. Better people have as many children as their financial situation will allow and raise them properly than have 10 kids and have them grow up malnourished because their parenst can't afford food for all of them.
Also, that video is absolute propaganda, sheer rubbish. When are Serbs going to realize that "God" isn't punishing us? WE fucked up, WE supported incompetent, opportunistic leaders (still do), and WE are responsible for the mess we are in. The sooner we begin to take some responsibility, the sooner we can look for skilled leaders who aren't defeatist assholes like whoever created that video.

Haha pa dobro ne znam kolika je tamo srpska zajednica ali u sustini verujem da covek bi se iznenadio s'njegovom sposobnoscu Sve moguce, samo radi se o nacinu delovanja I think you're missing the point. Our economic problems are tied to our birthrate problems. We can't have a strong and developed market if domestic buyers aren't there. People can't get jobs if there is noone to provide services or sell items to. We don't have a stable population. 1.4 million in Belgrade and the next largest city in Serbia doesn't have even 1/4th that, the next (after Nis) gets 3 times smaller than that. That is not sustainable Srbobran, it's not healthy for a large industrial country's future. We're not in the unique situation of Monaco or Japan where we have economic niche's imposed on us, we need a larger population in order to build a larger domestic market. Additionally larger populations also mean more obedience from the government, (in democratic society strictly), and so when a President knows that if he makes an unpopular decision he will have 1 million young men rioting outside his office, he knows his place. If we had a larger population Kosovo would never have left, we would have invaded in 2008 when they declared. But instead of 5 million Serbs running amok in Belgrade and causing a revolution we had a couple thousand. In the end it was a quickly extinguished flame that the police could reasonably contain. I'm not saying this to criticize anyone personally I'm just contributing my thoughts to this situation and my idea of what perspective people should take on this matter.

While i see your reaction as being relatively healthy, it is still very uninformed at the same time. What happened to Serbs has nothing to do with Serbs. Go visit Greece-S.Arabia-Palestine-Qatar, see the similarities and the differences and then make up your mind. Being inefficient (or efficient) has NOTHING to do with the final outcome. There is NOT a SLAVIC single nation in better position than the worse arabian states (Palestine), and believe me, the worse of the slavs are better than the best of the arabs (or greeks, its the same thing). Any Serb who has lived in Greece has witnessed the absolute disorganization/filth/dirt/inability/inefficiency and laziness, yet the Greeks earned on average 10 times more than Serbs (or Ukrainians/Russians/Slovaks/etc...). Its not about the politicians boy, its about *WHO* *THEY* choose next...

also on the video, its very hard for Serbs to have children when :
1) kids will have no future there 2) women try to be like turbo-folk b1tches, knowing their ass/pussy will make their living 3) men are trying to avoid the weights of the family and are running away
the rate of divorces in Serbia/Bosnia is phenomenal.

With more markets, more babies will come... recently one nice greek super-market started importing "Jelen Pivo"!! (YEEEEEEE) it costs 1 euro, which sucks (same price with the rest of the greek sucking beers), but its a start. we need markets... Albania/Greece/Romania should be a good target...

You're right pyrros, we should start larger export of Serbian goods.
Little do people know that in the 16th-19th centuries Serbs were big and successful traders in Central Europe.
But I think this is bulls*t and selfishness in society when people say "I dont want kids, they're too expensive!"
Well sell your leather sofa and get a fabric sofa, sell your BMW and get a honda you dumb f**k this is a human being's life we're talking about here, not your worthless pride or foolish comfort.

Good point man. Problem is the high abortion rate in Serbia, if that could be lessened, then l don't think it would be an issue.

Your concern is legitimate Krivos, but there's a trump card that gets easily overlooked in this sort of topic-debate, and that's love (however one defines it). Proximity is a huge factor in all this, especially for us diaspora and cultural/racial-continuation doesn't get considered when we're thinking about getting laid and all of sudden something unexpectedly grows out of it.
I don't really have an opinion on this, however I will say that I think it's important to remember our roots and at least speak the language. This new culture brewing and plaguing our society is spitting, degrading and ridiculing the past - we should not fall for it. When we don't have culture all we got is Ipods, MTV, Nike, facebook and dolce gabana, but when these superficial culture identities get played out or simply disappear, what do we fall back on?
ps. I think you're right when saying economics is not the main factor here. I think in Serbia this is the illusion they live by when it's not necessarily the case.

In the name of Serbdom I do hope that Pazar will personally give birth to twins. He is a man of exceptional dumbness, why not being the first man to give birth?
