Famous Actors often play Serbs in movies: Sam Rockwell - "Welcome to Collinwood" John Travolta - "Killing Season" Dennis Hopper - "24 season 1" Tom Cruise - "All the Right Moves" David Bowie - "The Prestige" Shirley Henderson - "Einstein's Big Idea" Top actors play Serbs. Ziveli! I heard though that Sascha Baron Cohen wanted to originally make his "Borat" character from Albania

They should get more Serbian actors in Hollywood. There are starting to get more popular in American Films: Sasha Alexander, Stana Katic, Ana Alexander, Predrag Bjelac, Emir Kusturica, Miki Manojlovic and Branka Katic, etc

The Borat thing is true but I heard he was threatened. His Jewish organs would have been given to some poor Palestinians in need :-).

lol! oh the irony, the albanians one and only famous person played a Serbian-American in his most famous movie. Aww poor albs haha I have never heard that movie? I know him from Joe Somebody. And there are other Albanian-American actors; - Regis Philbin - John Belushi - James Biberi - Eliza Dushku - Agim Kaba - Enver Gjokaj - Victor Gojcaj - Pjetër Malota - Masiela Lusha Albanians and Serbians have large diasporas in the USA.

Only Regis and John are widely known. But Regis is half arberesh, which isn't exactly albanian. Eliza dusku isn't as famous as jim belushi or john.
And john hasn't been relevant for 30 years. Jim Belushi I'd say is the most famous albanian currently for sure. He has a popular TV show that's on now.
jim belushi isn't much of a movie star, he's more famous for tv. but besides Red heat i only knew him in k-9 which was a silly 90's cop movie. Red heat had arnold schwartzanegger. It makes the movie 10x more famous automatski.

Classic ex-Serbian surname (comes from Dusko). In Epirus we have a lot of them.
