The state of Kosova is 4 days old. Countries that have recognized or announced the recognition of Republic of Kosova are now 22 out of 192 United Nations members:
United States of America Germany France United Kingdom Turkey Italy Australia Albania Malaysia Norway Denmark Belgium Finland Austria Slovenia Costa Rica Afghanistan Senegal Luxembourg Lithuania Estonia Latvia

Remember Fender when you told me to modify my post because it was 'provocative', even though it infact wasn't? What YOU just wrote was intended to provoke. If I was like you, I'd give you an hour as well to modify your post; except in this case it would be justified. But guess what? I've concluded that you have suffered enough as it is. You and Novi have probably engaged in comfort sex ever since February 17th. So, considering that fact, I'll leave you with what little you have left; pathetic jokes!

Thank you Switzerland! Weird that their recognition didn't come earlier ... ah well, doesn't matter much. Love the Swiss. P:s I think Fender's health condition is being challenged for each recognition. I can only imagine what happens when a majority of countries in the world recognize us

The other recognitions are just matter of days.

On one hand, they try to be on par with the Americans; and on the other hand, they may feel reluctance due similar conflicts in their country. I also hope you guys understand that most of the countries that take a stand, do so because of politics and not so much because they symphatize with Albanians. You can stop rating countries for what they choose to do, but yeah, Switzerland is cool.

Kiki
Easy. It's only been nine days since the independence declaration. Eventually, I believe recognition will come from the Muslim world (as it already has, e.g. Malaysia, Afghanistan), the Arab extraction not excluded.
I believe that the only Arab countries which might oppose Kosova independence are 1) Syria; this because this country has had a diplomatic history of friendship with socialist Yugoslavia and Serbia; 2) Iraq; due to it being a fractured state alongside ethnic and religious lines, it fears being carved up; 3) Libya; Ghaddafi has since long displayed a sympathy for Serbs as well as a deep antipathy for the West and the US in particular; 4) Morrocco, due to West Sahara's secessionist ambitions!
Again, easy! It is not like they have explicitly made it clear that they will not recognize us. They remain neutral for the time being. Hesitation is understandable. Poland hesitated initially yet recognized us today!
Anittas
No sh-t? But those who do not recognize us make that stance out of pure sympathy for the "Serbian cause"?
Of course national interests play a role here. Likewise, those who stand by Serbia do so because they have internal issues to worry about. Spain has the Basque question, Romania the Hungarian issue and so forth. Not even Russia is going through all this trouble out of 'fraternal love' for its kin country in the Balkans. Rather it does so because it re-asserts itself as a global player and because it faces similiar secessionist movements within its own Federation, e.g. Chechnya.
Vinyak
Think before you talk. Fender has always functioned as that slightly retarded and constantly annoying source of nausea. However, the reason why I wrote this NOW is because earlier, in a thread where a Serb claimed Kosova was now to be a new platform for exercising Jihad, I countered with the fact that the only source of religious radicalism has come from the Serbs. I mentioned Artemije appealing for war against the 'occupiers of Kosova' -- i.e. Serb Orthodox jihad. My post contained no profanity, no personal attack; no reason for it to be deleted/modified. Nevertheless, Fender warned be without a reason, saying I was being 'provocative' and that I had an hour to 'modify' my post.
His post here is tenfold more provocative than mine was; it is furthermore juvenile and not even contributing (as if this is new to us when it comes to Fender). So, think why I wrote what I wrote Vin. It did not come from nowhere. I mean, I am sure Kosova's independence has sent you all to a state of being like menstruating little girls. But that does not excuse corruption. Fender also deleted another reply of mine in the Croatian forum, where again, there was no profanity or personal attack to be found. I merely displayed my gratitude to the Croatian nation for having stated it will support Kosova's independence.

While you where trying to make a point your compatriots went to town and actualy have shown what the meaning of provocation is all about.
Are you now going to let the provocative messages stand or will you do your old trick and let someone else pick up the slack ?

kiki i guess you havent done much research
go and see how many countries are in process of recognising Kosovo. Each country has its own process and it takes time and it might take up to two month for that process to finish.
