Anyone who is mentally correct will know that the Hungarians which were an empire together with the Austrians and even today are a strong country will never leave the precious land of Vojvodina under the Serbs.

a few comments from that b92 article ......
Its obvious Pajtic is paid by America to stear up trouble in Vojvodina to make Serbia shift focus from Kosovo and force it to accept a deal. To bad for Pajtic and his american pimps the people of Vojvodina want liberation from Canak and other american sponsored separatists. Everywhere americans stick their nose results in tragedy. Korea, Afghanistan, Irak, El Salvador, Palestein, former Yugoslavia etc.
(Hank the Tank, 12 April 2013 20:14)
then a reply to Hank the tank
Hank, you have a problem, pal. America could give a rat's behind about Vojvodina. If there were some armed conflict, maybe, but not right now. The radical SNS, and their socialist party partners, are using Vojvodina as a divergent. The fact that the ruling coalition must formally sign Kosovo away soon, leads the ruling coalition to move public concentration away from KiM, and onto Vojvodina. It is pure primal politics, nothing more. I was at the so-called meeting today in Novi sad, and it was a poor showing of serbs from Southern Serbia, nationalist supporters, and practically no one from Vojvodina. The radicals are up to their old ways, but everyone knows them by now, and they cannot BS people anymore. Let's face it, radicals, you lost Kosovo back in the late 90's, and if you don't change your ways, you may see Vojvodina go the same way. Personally, I would like to see that happen. Serbs do not know how to govern, only to rule.

( winston, 12 April 2013 22:04) Two fundamental mistakes by you idiotic gimps... 1) Hungary has NO desire to claim Vojvodina/ in fact they stated long not ago how they're happy with how Hungarians are treated in Vojvodina. 2) Less than %15 of the population in Vojvodina are Hungarians, the rest are Serbs. You should seek help rex, your obsession with Serbian affairs is concerning to say the least - you suck and fail at every attempt to make a point, does your family know about this? quit runnig rex chap... quit being a coward; If Kosovo is albanian why do ALL albanians call it by its' Serbian name?

Well the region of Dardania was under slavic occupation for long periods (but ofcourse always the Albanians inhabited the Dardanian region), so the slavic occupation made it obligative to use that name on the Documents,TV,Books, even the battles were named Battle of Kosovo etc... and thats why the population started calling it Kosovo...But it never lost the real historicall name.

lol... albanian garbage getting to your head... you must be feelin nauscious "Kosovo" is a Serbian place name, more fully "kosovo polje", meaning the 'field (or plain) of blackbirds'. "Kosovo Polje" lies just outside the city of Prishtina. Ornithology lesson: Among North Americans, Australians, and South Africans, only ornithologists can identify the species in question. Kosovo's "black bird" is no crow, nor raven, no starling nor grackle, but "turdus merula", European cousin of the North American rusty-bellied thrush ("turdus migratorius"), which Yanks call the "robin". In Britain and Ireland "robin" is the name of another species, "erithacus rubecula". (The "four and twenty 'blackbirds' baked in a pie", of the English rhyme, were of the species "merula", in Serbian called "kos". From this term "kosovo" is the derived possessive adjective. Like America's harbinger of spring, the black bird called "kos" in Serbian language sings sweetly in the springtime and early summer. For North Americans the feel of the Serbo-Croatian place name "Kosovo" can only be had from a free translation, "Field of Robins". Albanians have borrowed the word from the Serbs, whose once overwhelming majority was driven down, especially since the Congress of Berlin, by savage aggression from Albanians incited then and in WW I by Austria-Hungary and Germany, in World War II by Mussolini's puppet Albanians, and after WW II by the discriminatory ethnic cleansing of the Stalinist dictator Josip Broz. Native Indian place names in America have no meaning in English: e.g. "Michigan" means nothing in English. In Ojibwa "mishshikamaa" means "it is a big lake". Just so the place names of Ireland have transparent meaning in Gaelic but are meaningless tags in the colonialist English, e.g. "Dublin" is Gaelic "dubh lin" 'black pool', and "Kildare" is "cil dara" 'church of the oak', Just so the names of the Serbian province of Kosovo are clear Serbian formations, but have no meaning in the Albanian language. Proof of the Serbian origin of the name and the loanword status of the immigrant Albanian term is that the word "kosovo" has a clear etymology to anyone who knows a Slavic language, while Albanian "Kosova" is an opaque, meaningless place name in the Albanian language. continue talk here champ: illyria.proboards.com/thread/36792/name-kosovo#

“Atmosphere of lynch encouraged at Friday’s rally” Source: Tanjug NOVI SAD -- Bojan Pajtić has said that announcement of a new rally and messages sent by participants of a rally held on Friday represent a “clear threat with violence”.
Bojan Pajtić (FoNet, file) The participants of the rally dubbed "Stop the breaking up of Serbia” said that “people’s anger cannot be contained for much longer”. “This is a message that a violent attempt to topple legal and legitimate provincial authorities will follow and citizens of Vojvodina have never tolerated and will never tolerate violence,” the Vojvodina Executive Council president told Novi Sad-based daily Dnevnik.
He believes that the organizers of the rally were the same people who extinguished Vojvodina’s autonomy in the so-called “Yogurt revolution” in the late 80s.
Pajtić said that the “atmosphere of lynch” had been encouraged at the rally on Friday.
He added that the provincial government had been exposed to a political pressure for months so it would be reshuffled in accordance with the republic government’s structure.
He stressed that early elections, requested by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), would be discussed only if the provincial government had no majority support in the Vojvodina assembly.
“Since it has a two-thirds majority, early elections are not a topic for us,” Pajtić, who is a Democratic Party (DS) deputy leader, pointed out.
“There is no separatism in Vojvodina and there never will be. The only thing we insist on is respect of the Constitution and laws of the country,” he concluded.
The participants of the rally on Friday called for early provincial elections.

The participants of the rally on Friday called for early provincial elections. If it's a lynching then it's a democratic lynching. This guy obviously fucked up the majority of the citizens are against him. This protest was fully called for and legal, in fact a protest like this excersises democracy to its' greatest extent. When politicians fuck up the people have the right to speak. NOVI SAD -- The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will tomorrow start collecting signatures of citizens who support requests presented at a rally held in Novi Sad on Friday. This is according to SNS Novi Sad Board President Miloš Vučević. He stressed that they requested that a declaration on protection of Vojvodina’s rights, proposed by Vojvodina Executive Council President Bojan Pajtić, be withdrawn from the assembly procedure, that Pajtić resigns and that early provincial elections are called. Vučević said that they “will not wait long” for a response of the current provincial authorities. “With our behavior at the rally we showed we are not evil hordes and that we are not destroying anything or throwing yogurt or anything else and all citizens have the right to demand that the declaration be withdrawn and all other requests,” he told a press conference. Vučević noted that the Democratic Party (DS) requested parliamentary elections but that nobody accused them of trying to destroy the country because it was its legitimate right. “However, they withdraw as soon as elections are offered to them and the SNS is not afraid of elections on all levels and cannot wait to show its strength in the elections, and we especially cannot wait for the provincial election,” the SNS official and Novi Sad mayor stressed. He said that it was clear after the rally on Friday that the provincial government had lost its legitimacy www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2013&mm=04&dd=13&nav_id=85690

Citizens in Vojvodina “do not want DS anymore”BELGRADE -- A declaration on protection of Vojvodina’s rights was just a latest reason for the rally, Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) deputy leader Igor Mirović has said.He stressed that opinion polls had shown that citizens in Vojvodina were not in favor of the Democratic Party (DS) anymore.“I want to point out that the rally went by in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere, participants came from all parts of Vojvodina,” Mirović told B92 on Friday evening. The rally was held in Novi Sad on Friday under the slogan, "Stop the breaking up of Serbia", prompted by a proposed declaration on Vojvodina's rights. “The declaration was just the last reason, polls have shown that citizens are no longer in favor of the DS, the Democrats lost the last elections in four municipalities and the declaration was just the last straw,” Mirović said. DS leader Dragan Đilas said on Friday that there was no and there would be no separatism in Vojvodina while the DS led the majority in the province. “ The declaration came in a very difficult political moment, it was not launched by accident, containing a powerful separatist sentiment, the day when final negotiations on a possible agreement on Kosovo and Metohija were underway,” the SNS deputy leader stressed. “Vojvodina is currently the most underdeveloped part of the Republic of Serbia so it is normal that citizens are dissatisfied,” he added. DS Executive Board President Dušan Elezović told B92 that the rally had been organized in order to divert attention from much bigger problems, such as failed negotiations with Priština and the government’s inability to solve problems in the country, and that the declaration did not call for separatism but for respect of Vojvodina citizens’ constitutional and legal rights. “The rally did not achieve what the organizers had planned,” he said, adding that majority of the participants had come from other parts of Serbia. He added that Vojvodina Executive Council Chairman Bojan Pajtić did not think about resigning and that there was no reason to call for his resignation. Mirović stressed that more than 90 percent of the participants had been from Vojvodina. www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2013&mm=04&dd=13&nav_id=85684

It's good and I am glad the DS in Vojvodina is getting slammed, this is a time when all Serbian party's need to unite behind each other.
Pajtic is paid by the West, does anyone really think the timing was a "coincidence", nothing in Balkan is a coincidence - this move was meant to cause instability post-Serbia's rejection of the EU-deal. He deserves to be clamped down on hard.
