Communist crimes against Slavic people:
The Katyn Massacre, also known as the Katyn Forest Massacre, was a mass murder of thousands Polish military officers, policemen, intellectuals and civilian prisoners of war by Soviet NKVD, based on a proposal from Lavrentiy Beria to execute all members the Polish Officer Corps dated March 5, 1940. This official document was then approved (signed) by the entire Soviet Politburo including Stalin and Beria. The number of victims is estimated at about 22,000, with the most commonly cited number of 21.768.
Holodomor also known as Murder by starvation was an engineered famine that was operated in the Ukraine and parts of Russia during the years 1921-23,1932-33 and 1946-47. The planned deliberate genocide was concealed under Jewish Bolshevism's food 'requisition' (seizures) programs. From the early 1920s onwards, many people were starving to death due to Bolshevik issues not to import any food into the Ukraine. People caught stealing even the smallest amount of food were executed. People who squatted on land seized by Jewish Bolsheviks were treated as "treasonists".
Upto 7 million Ukrainians perished, with a total of upto 15 million people effected.
The Gulag was an extension of earlier labor camps (katorgas) operated in Siberia as a part of penal system in Imperial Russia, which became quickly overflown under Bolsheviks' totalitarian regime. Remote monasteries in particular were frequently reused as sites for new camps. One such name, Solovki, turned synonym for torture after 1918. New camps were constructed throughout the Soviet sphere of influence, including facilities in Moscow and Leningrad.
The Communist leadership continued to sponsor Gulag for a while after Stalin's death, and it is estimated that a total of 7 to 10 million people have been killed by this system. Large numbers of prisoners began to be released in the mid-1950's after Nikita Khrushchev's denunciation of Stalin and his violent regime.
The NKVD contained the regular, public police force of the USSR (including traffic police, firefighting, border guards and archives) but is better known for the activities of the Gulag and the Main Directorate for State Security (GUGB), which eventually became the Committee for State Security (KGB). It conducted mass extrajudicial executions, ran the Gulag system of forced labor camps, suppressed underground resistance, conducted mass deportations of entire nationalities and Kulaks to unpopulated regions of the country, guarded state borders, conducted espionage and political assassinations abroad, was responsible for influencing foreign governments, and enforced Stalinist policy within communist movements in other countries.
Some of the players guilty of the above and more atrocitiesLazar Moiseyevich Kaganovich (Russ. Ла́зарь Моисе́евич Кагано́вич; November 22, 1893 – July 25, 1991) was a Jewish communist and one of the greatest mass-murderers in recorded history. As Stalin's chief henchman, he ordered the deaths of millions of Europeans and the wholesale destruction of Christian monuments and churches, including the great Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Standing amid the rubble of the cathedral, Kaganovich proclaimed, "Mother Russia is cast down. We have ripped away her skirts."
In the gulags, there were some captives who escaped by simulating death. Comrade Kaganovitch (one member of that great family) suggested to smash the head of all the dead with a hammer before burying them in order to avoid people escaping.

He killed over ten million people. According to the anti-Comintern bulletin (April 15, 1935), Yagoda’s organization between 1929 and 1934 drove between five and six million Russian peasants from their homes.

Biographers describe her as "the hardest of the hard Bolshevichki".
