Yes, that's true. Is used in that context nowdays since the bad connotation is softened. But there is another expression: "te vrafte buka" - Bread may kill you! I am not very clear why is that used! When one goes to visit a neighbor, friend or someone else and after eating his bread (which can be lunch or dinner or staying there for a few days) starts talking back for that person on his back???

Bread is the most common thing consumed, especially in those days. Meat would have been rare, so it seems quite obvious that "bread" would be use.
Compare that to the english "break bread together" to symbolize two fraternal people.

Pissin me off doesnt really convey the crudeness of "na cave bythen", which litterally means: "your tearing my a$s". But in english slang usage this is a sexual reference.

Ora - are same as Zana e Malit (Mountain Goddesses) and can be either Good "Ora" or "Bad" ora. I wonder if they really are the same. Or if they just had resembling characteristics. The Albanian researcher Mark Tirta who wrote "Mitologjia nder Shqiptare" wrote following; "Emri ka ndryshuar sipas kohës e krahinave, por në origjinë kemi të bëjmë me tiparet e asaj figure të përgjithëshme mitologjike që njihet me emrin "Zana", ose "Ora", "Zëra", ose më mirë ndoshta këtu kemi të bëjmë me një shkrirje bashkë të Orës e të Zanës: njëra mbrojtëse e natyrës e tjetra mborjtëse e njerëzve e bagëtive të tyre."
f.55 nga libri i përmendur më sipër.

Ora-Zana must have had some differences, but being Goddesses of Mountains, people tend to mix them. Ex: in the myth of Mujo and Halil, is mentioned Zana who gave him milk (if I recall well) which made him very very powerful. So Zana is used more in Heroic and Epic mythology...therefore is always presented as a positive character and Ora is used more in expressions or daily life...at least from my observation...and is used as bad character sometimes (bad ora) ora a Lige But by the other hand if we take a careful look, we'll discover the Shtojzovalle...what are they? ? According to the myth many very pretty girls from mountains (I believe either Ora or Zana) used to dance around the lake...one day people saw this dance and they liked it so much that prayed: may God increases these dances!!! (Shtoji Zot Vallet)...thus the name for this girls!!! So now we have: Zana, Ore and Shtojzovallet of Mountains...Could they be all the same with little differences? I think are more or less like Nymphs.... Another expression: bir selman i nenes, c'te te qaj me pare!!! A little hard to translate. Who can translate that?

As a kid, whenever I would cry and then suddenly start laughing at something(usually because some adult tried his best to make me laugh and so stop crying), everyone would say:
qau qeshi, miu.... forgot the rest!!!

Ej, mos harro, mbahu kur te biesh! - If you're about to fall, hold on to something (I suppose it is funny because it is so obvious that it's an instinct, but you're stil reminding the person - a form of a tease).

te marsha t'keqen
-literally means: may I take your negative energy -alliteration: "may i take all your evil" -or: may all the bad things that are going to happen to you happen to me instead.
O Zot i Madh
-literally means: Oh Zeus the great. or Oh God the great. -similar to English: Aww crap, or Jesus! -used when something bad happens and to express grief.
