that'a a common thing to notice, many have said the same. However our Vlah version is more primitive than the Slavic one. (as everything)... ooopsss I did it again....

It doesn't look like a fez it looks a bit like the montenegrin cap Its a relic of the past - Ottoman legacy, together with turban. Remember even Knez Milos wore turban, back in the days it was fashionable:

Serbian Chetinks and Serbs from western macedonia, the middle photo is of legitimate macedonians So western Macedonians (or Serbs, it doesn't matter really as those Slavs had no ethnic identity prior to 18-19th century, except more general Slavic one) from Galicnik or other Mijak towns and villages.
