"Sića" is a slang for "small amount of money". I'm not aware of any other meaning unless there is some nickname "Sića" in which case its given in accordance to the founder of this village or something like that.

Thnx bro,
there is a Vlah village some 60 km from my Sarakatsan village , which is called : Sicena, which I assume must be Slavic (like the rest of original names). Sicena must have been initially Sicina (female), like Janena originally was Janina.
Since I found many "Sic*" villages in BiH, HR, Mak, SRB, Alb, Poland, etc I thought that there must be a connection.
Many Vlah/Sarakatsan free minds struggle to find the real meaning of their village's place name. After 1926 this is getting harder and harder.

Ok, I don't know a lot about it but suffix -ena doesn't sound Slavic to me. I'd rather go with -ište, -e/ani, and -e/ivo.

true. But all -ina became -ena. Some examples from my Vlah town :
Wife of Kostas : Kostuva or Kostena Wife of Jianis : Jianena

Well if its Vlach village it fits, given that Vlach is eastern Romance language and these suffixes sound similar to Italian (at least to me).

Kostova -> Kostuva Janina -> Janena
pretty darn Slavic
Italian or Roman influence is artificial. Romans tried to latinify us in order to distant us from the Slavs.
it all happened some time in 1040->1200.
of course lala-barbie-land "official" history has hidden all those "inconvenient" facts. Now we are all descendants of the great ancient greeks. Straight from Pericles , Socrates, Plato , etc...
btw it strikes me why Saksans dont use the original word : "Platon" which also sounds more saksanier. But they have made it "Plato". Funk...

Again, highly inconsistent theory because Slavs were patrilineal people. Chances are close to zero to have settlements named after women.

IN BOSNIA :
Need to go on???
No , Uncle Pyrros aka Kralj Vatra hath spoken again.
well it seems, that SLAVS had no such issues , MALES and FEMALES were equal as it seems.
ALSO
I have made it clear that all those placenames NOT ONLY are Slavic, but can be found today in IDENTICAL form in POLAND and BOSNIA and BULGARIA... easily ....
so man, pls, dont go against the obvious... this only feeds slav-haters (and I hope you are not one)
