In November, inflation in Slovenia, on an interannual level, has increased to 5.7 percent More than a half of the increase is connected to higher prices of petroleum products.
Their contribution to the inflation is 0.5 percentage points, while more expensive clothes and footwear have contributed in the amount of 0.2 percentage points.
If the year would end now the average inflation for the whole year would be 3.4 percent, which is the highest rate since 2004 when it amounted to 3.6 percent.
Almost 40 percent of this year’s inflation was caused by more expensive alimentation, and around 10 percent higher hospitality services, recreation and culture and more expensive furnishings, alcohol beverages and tobacco. (www.finance.si)
