A claim constantly made by Montenegrin government has been shown to be a lie. Since 2001 Montenegro has claimed that FDI per capita is much higher in Montenegro then in Serbia (they constantly claimed this prior to the referendum), now as of the end of 2007 both governments released figures: Montenegrin FDI stands at $600 million U.S. (less then $1000 US per capita), Serbian FDI stands at 11 billion euros (that is slightly over 1465 euro per capita or close to $2100 U.S. per capita).
It seems aniother lie of the Djukanovic regime has been proven wrong. In addition to this the "billions" in investments they claimed would materialize after independence never did. I am confident that Montenegrins will become aware of this and other prominent lies of Djukanovic and will finally get rid of Djukanovic.

Sucks for you that the majority of Montenegrins did not split due to money problems...but rather due to their pride in being Montenegrin and not wanting to be in Serbia's shadow any longer

Economics is the reason. The Montenegrin media & officials talked mroe of the supposed economic benefits then they did nationalist dieals.

"Vratili smo cast nasem potonjem Kralji Nikoli, vratili smo cast dinastije Petrovica, vratili smo te ime cast svima nama u nasoj Crnoj Gori" - Milo Djukanovic 2006 on independence day
Those are nationalistic ideals

Yes, these people are talking about the economy...you're just silly Yes, you found a video showing people not talkiing about economics. The truth is. That is one video. The majority of the arguemtn for independence was economics. Promies of more investments, less povertyy, etc... All of these turned out to be lies.
