this is the link to an amazing movie/documetary, could be seen as biased, but its absolutly amazing. talks about how christianity is based on every other religion and displays facts, ie. the 3 kings were the 3 stars from orion's belt. and then it goes on to talk about how the elite group of american bankers (rockefeller, jp morgan, etc) staged the stockmarket crash of the 1920s, how they staged the events that would lead them into america's last three great wars, and their present 2 wars. ie. they knew about pearl harbour and were counting on it. www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

the first 10 minutes is still the intro, skip ahead, you may think its pure bs, but a lot of what they talk about regarding the US economy is true, in regards to the central reserve, the rockefellers, and the bush family, they're interconnected. i encourage you to watch past the first 10 minutes (even skip ahead) some of the facts are quite intreging, and if you cross reference them with source online you'll find that the information isn't falsified ie. the movie mentions that the original flood was first mentioned in the epic of gilgamesh, which is about 2600 years before the birth of 'jesus' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilgamesh_flood_mythmoses's birth: placed in a basket down a river to avoid infanticide, and rescued by royalty. the movie mentions that these qualities are IDENTICAL to Sargon of Akkad. when i looked up sargon, this is what comes up: A Neo-Assyrian text from the seventh century BC purporting to be Sargon's autobiography asserts that the great king was the illegitimate son of a priestess. In the Neo-Assyrian account Sargon's birth and his early childhood are described thus: “ My mother was a high priestess, my father I knew not. The brothers of my father loved the hills. My city is Azupiranu, which is situated on the banks of the Euphrates. My high priestess mother conceived me, in secret she bore me. She set me in a basket of rushes, with bitumen she sealed my lid. She cast me into the river which rose over me. The river bore me up and carried me to Akki, the drawer of water. Akki, the drawer of water, took me as his son and reared me. Akki, the drawer of water, appointed me as his gardener. While I was a gardener, Ishtar granted me her love, and for four and […] years I exercised kingship.[14]" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sargon_of_Akkaddon't judge the whole movie by the first 10 minute intro, which i admit does the movie no good, but keep in mind that this movie is part of the LA film festival and should be subjected to at least some degree of standards.

The part regarding religion is ridiculous.
They have used some facts to come to wrong conclusions. So what if the flood story was mentioned in Gilgamesh.
It just makes the story more reliable. Anyway if the flood happened earlier people will know it since the memory of it is still fresh... What does that prove against Jesus?
Or you think whatever is mentioned in the Bible has to be unique and new.
Well, if it concerns the history of man it is natural to refer to real facts... So difficult to understand?
And then all astronomical facts again support that this was cosmically expected, too. Makes Jesus's position stronger...
Anyway, you are right that first part was boring and recommended my friends just to skip the first part. The following parts are more exciting and full with real facts and conclusions...
Thank you Dracula for bringing it here!

the first part where they talk about religion i think is ment to show how the bible was composed of events that actually occured in another lifetime to other peoples of different regions.
with regards to the flood, its stating that the bible to the story of the flood from the epic of gilgamesh, which is the oldest recognized form of written history. and in the same sense uses the other examples to present how jesus's life was based on.
when it refers to the history of man, natural facts have been presented, evolution.
the astrology behind it represents how they purposly missused the information they had, i find it interesting how they present the age as the age of pisies, and before that taurus and aries.

The later part with the history of America was very intriguing. I came over the film through a friend. This was perhaps two months ago or so. It's very interesting, and doubtless many of the things presented there have atleast large elements of tuth in them.
The whole ordeal with world domination seemed a little exaggerated ... sounded very cliché. Nevertheless, that a restricted number of influential individuals do hold unproportional power in the US cannot be disregarded. I saw an interesting documentary not a long time ago which spoke about credit companies and banks, and how modern socities are entering a new type of feudal era. The feudalistic era was characterized by landtied serfs bound to their lands and services to their landlord. Likewise, today, people are bound and tied by their life long debts which reduces them to essential slaves working to pay off loans. Many of the loaners are lured into comfort and basically ruined by the unsincere advertisement of crediting made by credit sharks.
Overall, whether true in a 'conspiracy to dominate the world' type of way, or, as is more probable, as a mean to further establish themselves as a ruling class of the US, Bush and close associates have indeed in a most spectacular manner tightened their grip over the daily lives of Americans. It's quite ironic when you hear Bush and other politicians saying 'we will not compromise with the enemy', that 'we will not trade away the American way of life'. What has characterized the American way of life? Atleast normatively speaking? Reverence of freedom. This is precisely what they've been robbed off, and seen from such an aspect, the terrorists did win. And so did Bush & friends.
Fear was advertised in USA ever since 9/11. A theatre play was staged infront of the eyes of people, leaving the opportunity to robb them right infront of their eyes ... this documentary is meant to be sensational. For that sake, it should not be taken unseriously. Some of the points made there are indeed worthy of notice.
