www.novosti.co.yu/code/navigate.php?

Seems like not only clerics of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church are having run-ins with the law: Serbian Bishop Pahomie Acquitted on Pedophilia Charges Makfax [Serbia] March 6, 2006 The Bishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church Pahomie has been acquitted on Monday on the charges of committing sexual abuse over minors. The Trial Chamber with Nis District Court, where the trial of the Bishop took place, concluded that no sufficient evidences have been provided for backing the accusations raised by four persons, alleging the Bishop of having coerced them into sexual intercourse with him, when they were still underaged students of the religious seminar in Vranje. The Trial Chamber established that "although there is a ground for certain level of suspicion, no solid evidence were provided". [Serbian Bishop Pahomie] The two priests who gave testimonies backing minors' claims were dismissed and ousted from the Church by Pahomie. Pahomie defended himself by saying that the trial was orchestrated by secret services of Albania, Macedonia and other countries, on the account of his strong efforts aimed at protecting the Serbian interests in its south.www.bishop-accountability.org/news2006/03_04/2006_03_06_Makfax_SerbianBishop.htm Evidently "the secret services of Albania, Macedonia and other countries" really know how to pick attractive young men that would lead many a bishop into temptation.

It is easy to assume the law is not doing its job... one thing is for sure though, if the priest was found guilty of pedophilia, he would've joined the CPC shortly after
