All the analyses show continuous econimal growth in most of Europe, so I wonder what you know that the rest do not know. But the fascinating thing about you is not what you believe, but what you wish for. Yeah, there exists economic growth in Europe which is about 2.5 % per annum while it is 10 % in China. It is about 5-6 % in Turkey, and it is even higher in India. The overall production output of the world is no longer realized by the West as of 2005 (after almost two centuries), and 75% of the currency reserves are in held in non-European/Western countries. However, I am perhaps mistaken, and the Europe/West will remain on the top of the world forever.

That percentage represents a much higher value than the growth in China or elsewhere. One percent out of 10,000 is more than 10 percent out of 1,000. I'm sure you know this already. If European downfall would come soon, those countries heavily dependent on its European trade would come along.
I still say that the most fascinating thing about you is not what you think, but what you wish for.

I point out overall tendencies not my wishes, but I agree that there is dependency in world trade, Mr. Hyde. ;D

And Turkey is on one such dependency, which means that a fall of the EU would bring you along. To replace your economic dependency on the EU with a dependency for China would take time, money, it would cost you a great sacrifice and it would be stupid.
You say you point out tendencies; I say you point out what you see as tendencies with great excitement, which means that you wish for the worst to come true. I find that very fascinating and I think Darth Vader would also find it fascinating.

You say you point out tendencies; I say you point out what you see as tendencies with great excitement, which means that you wish for the worst to come true. I find that very fascinating and I think Darth Vader would also find it fascinating. Dependency of each economy differs from the others. Hence, the risks involved for each economy also have different phases. In that regard, the risks that China faces are different than the ones that Turkey face. Turkey borrows in USD and Euro in order to close down her investment gap, so devaluation of the USD and Euro is not so bad. However, for a country achieving large trade surpluses and maintaining large amount of exchange reserves like China, such devaluation of income is bad as it also triggers appreciation of the Chinese Yuan. Moreover, I could tell you that the devaluation of wealth in Turkey would be far smaller compared to the loss of value that the West would experience in the forthcoming decades. Turkey is still an economy in transition, which is an advantage since such transition could easily enable Turkey implementing some shift when necessary. Most importantly, Turkey is still self sufficient to feed whole of its population in terms of agricultural output, and nowadays, she is quite busy with securing its energy requirements. The center of the World Economy still shifts from the West to the East while the cost of producing anything in the West still remains to be quite expensive. At present, many non-Western countries could produce various types of goods better and cheaper than their Western counterparts, and their specialization efforts in different industries get proliferated around the globe. This assertion also includes Turkey. So, we are talking about a world that would less depend upon the Western economic and political manipulations in line with the positive economic and political developments in the East. PS: You are not Freud, Jerry the Hyde. So, do not act as if you are.

I'm not Freud, but I nonetheless possess the ability to become fascinated. And you fascinate me. You await our downfall with great excitement.
I'm not sure why you mentioned that Turkey is self efficient in the agriculture sector. Many countries in the EU produce more than they need and that's a curse because of EU regulations, they are forced to throw away foot. So there's nothing unique in that.
Trust me, Jenny. You do not want Europe to do badly. For many different reasons. Not just because it would hurt your economy; and not just because we may go berserk and do bad things; but also because if we sense that we're going down, we'll let you join the EU and use you as our pillow, to make our fall easier.
On a serious note, Europeans are survivors. If we face a problem, we'll invent a solution. We survived the Black Death, Arab and Turkic invasions, and we fought two world wars. I'll be damned if we don't win the third one!

In my humble opinion, agriculture output will be crucial in the post-industrial Era. I watched your show on TV, and did not really like it. Do I have to trust in you, Jerry? OK.

There's your hint on what we may do to you if you mess us up. Now, image me and Ruse on that show.

Jerry, your show is out of control, and you seem to enjoy the theatrical presentation of scandalousness. I do not like your show much, because it is addictive. Nevertheless, It would be very interesting if Ruse and Desire would be in your show. I am sorry, but I can not imagine how events might evolve there. ;D

Many people here fail to see that Turkey depends 100% on Europe. If there's economic growth in the country is not because the turks are producing or doing things by themselves but because Multinational Companies (most of them based in Europe) open their factories there and that give jobs to a lot of people. So what happens if Europe goes through a crisis? Easy. Most of these Multinationals will close their factories and plants in Turkey. So if Europe goes to hell, turkey will go to hell x5.

World must take Turkey into account"Today we can say that no calculations can be made without taking Turkey into account in not only our region but also in the entire world," said Turkish premier Erdogan. We are a regional power. PM - 18 / 12 / 2007 06:40 Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said: "Today, we can say that no calculations can be made without taking Turkey into account in not only our region but also in the entire world." Erdogan gave intimidating messages to the world after the Turkish Armed Forces' operation against the PKK. Erdogan said: "Anarchy, terrorism and ideological polarizations have wasted Turkey's facilities, resources and potential for a long time. Our citizens' confidence is being boosted as Turkey is dealing with its problems which have plagued them for many years. Today, we can say, that no calculations can be made without taking Turkey into account in not only our region but also in the entire world." ==================================== Hey yavrum hey.
