Average American diet (usually junk foots in fast food establishments where super-sized portions are more the norm then the exception) and lack of exercise easily explains why the obesity is so prevalent in US. Mississippi is the fattest state for 3rd straight year, Colorado still leanest, D.C. loses weight calorielab.com/news/2008/07/02/fattest-states-2008/OOOOH MY GOD!!!! YUM YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nah
I've never been to America but I still believe that that is not the average American. That's just too much.Must be a food addict, emotional eater to be that.
I have read and seen on CNN,reports on many Americans being overweight. But I dont think its like in the photo

Not one negative point can be made that only relates to Europeans (so called whites). In fact it was Europe that moved the world into modern era and have defined what it means to be west as we known it while many of the other parts of the world offered human sacrifice, cavemen like societies and cruel absolute rulers in some cases deemed as Gods where a death of such ruler would have meant death of his entire 'entourage' as they would be burred alive with such ruler.I am pretty sure that these aspects are kept hidden in today's history books that demonize anything European while glorify anything else. Not really true. You still have this backwardness in much of Eastern Europe.Look at that Pole that died recently.

Daniel Pipes is a racist moron.
OK,he does make a valid point there on Europe, but a lot of his suggestions just reek of Eurocentrism, that the West cannot,in any way,be bowed down(and I mean in a humble way),to the non-Western world,to allow them to like,"hit back".
The effects of colonialism is far from dissapearing in most of the once colonized European countries of the world.

When we say not Turkish or Turkic,we're talking about the origins of it.The traceable part.
Just because something was made in CA does not make it originally Turkic. Why cant you just give it up that the Persians and their Indo-Iranian kinsmen gave you Turkics sooooo much?
Greek lived with Turks for a long time, but we all know that they gave Turks so much but not the other way round.
It seems that the Ataturk Kemalist mentality of being big and grandiose is very much part of the mentality of Turks.Oh wait! The impact of the Sun Language Theory me thinks!

Scythians are Indo-Iranians.The Huns,Mongols came after the Indo-Iranians settled there. Also, the Mongol armies included lots of Turkics.

"Corek is Turkish not, what you list Ozkart. It's in Central Asia still today. Yogurt is also Turkish."
Persian and their Indo-Iranian kinsmen were in CA before the Turkics. And the Turkic mixed with them and incorporated their culture.
By the way,I did not say there is no Turkic aspect to Turkish culture.

I dont know why DY has such a complex that Turkish culture is largely a mix of other cultures.
Almost or maybe all ethnic groups have aspects of their culture that come from another culture or ethnic group.
The culture of the Turkics who came to Anatolia,is a mix of Turkic+Persian+Arabic.
Now,they did not populate Anatolia, but got many of its people assimilated into them. And those people were Greeks,Armenians,Kurds,Assyrians and others,so all these Anatolian cultures blended together with the culture that the Turkics brought over.
Again,Turkics were referred to by Arabs,Persians, ancient Chinese and others as barbarians. So dont expect much from them culturally, except when it comes to fighthing stuff(which they did have, and were good at).

This is intresting.
I wonder whether the person who started this is a local or a foreigner. If a local,I wonder if its a Muhacir or an Anadolu or an Anadolu+Muhacir Turk.
But really dont like this "open to foreigners" bs thing. That's a total sell out.
This is common in non-white countries, because, what else, they worship Europeans!

No I did not donnie since each culture is different (hellboy just proved it in his previous post) and hence why I am asking that question. What's different about my winking? The one to my friend? That was me signalling to him that I'm lying.I cant remember who I learned that from.Maybe from my sister. When I think about it being learned from an American TV show,it does seem possible,it seems familiar.

Yea Me too I sow a very beautiful news host cast young lady winking her right eye in the front of camera during programing. Why she wink when everybody same time watching her on Tv Screen? Probably she wink because hiding her secrets. no no no I did not wink to the person on TV! My mistake there. I saw some person on TV wink, and then I chose to wink myself, trying it out.Not winking BACK at the person on TV.LOL!

is there any purpose when you wink to others? btw, what you telling to others when you wink right eye? I dont wink to anyone.Winking is not my thing I guess. The last few times I remembered winking is when I was alone and I winked in response to seeing someone on TV wink.I guess I was just trying it out, winking. From my last memory of winking to someone else, wow, this was 8 years ago at school and I winked to my friend after I said something to this classmate of mine nearby to indicate that I'm lying to my classmate. And it backfired when my friend said huh? What is this(he winked, mirroring what I did)?!
