manijak, whats the price for the plane tickets and accomodation together in the currency your country is in? canadian dollars Plane Tickets: $850 (round-trip) Accommodation: $150-200 per month (to rent out a room) Though first month might cost me about $600-$700, to be on the safe side, as I don't want to deal with reserving out a room from here in someone's private house/apartment. But tickets are bought..so its ooonnnnnnnnn baby!

That was a very good away game against one of the most technically and best footy nations in the world. Just look at their past results. They were big favorites coming it, which means, they were expected to control the tempo of the game, and create a bit more. They did that. But they were mostly buzzing around, not creating many very good clear cut chances at all. Bosnia on the other hand created at least three-four clear cut chance.. we hit the crossbar twice and post once. We were very unlucky to not score in this game. We were never, in a million years, going to control the game. If we were gonna win, it was through some good counters and our offensive line-up taking their chances. They didn't. But the lineup was at fault a bit as well. Pjanic who is a starter for Lyon is sitting out for Muratovic, a guy that can barley walk. That's like spain sitting out Xavi. If he sets up a better midfield, adding Pjanic and Bajramovic or Medunjanin, we will CONTROL that midfield. It will be a high scoring game and then we just have to hope we win by 2. Lol, why do you make this an ethnic issue? If you watched the match, you'd have seen that Portugal dominated most of the match. The chances that BiH got were few and didn't come from buildup play but from a few lucky breaks. Portugal had more chances, more ball possession, and were unlucky not to score more goals. Now, Deco says that they were lucky not to concede, but he did say they were better. Got to read the fine print before you draw conclusions.

i figured out a better idea.
i'm going to rent out a room in someones house/apartment for about 200km per month (sarajevo) and stay about three months. its pretty central too so i can get around and go a few nights here and there.

the thing is though, unlike some of you who are close to bosnia and visit regularly, sometimes shorter visits..i am coming all the way from canada. so i am staying there 1.5/2 months.
therefore, the way i see things, large part of bosnia is nice and maybe even ideal to visit in february and then in march should be everywhere. (krajina, etc)
but tell me if i'm wrong.

would this be a bad time? i intend to stay close to two months..so i would be staying into end of march..but would this be a bad time to arrive?
i figure i can be in the more southern parts (mostar, neum) even parts of croatia until march. and then head to sarajevo, banja luka, etc in march.
its just that in terms of flight deals..and really timing, this would be deal.

I'm sure Woman's day has the same influence of every other big media. The day you'll admit to yourselves (because I refuse to think you are that stupid) how people who don't give a f**k about the balkans, who had never stepped here and had no reason whatsoever to be biased against any group clearly found Serbs to be the guiltiest for everything that happened, for the great majority of crimes that happened on civillians and for cruelty, this place will surely move on, instead of blaming everyone else for your crimes. But as I'm not much confident you'll ever be able to do something like that, I hope these places will move anyways even if you refuse to admit that. Keep thinking the world hates you for no reason (lol) instead of facing the reality. Right on. The West has always made clear that they will sign any bs document as long as the three peoples of BIH are for it. More recently, and in not so many words, they stated that they would take any deal as long as the three sides agree. And this was when a person asked "does it have to follow EU standards?". These people don't care. They are tired of wasting their time in an area that they have nothing to gain from. The funny part is, the current issue in BIH is very much about not facing reality once again. So not only were the Serbs made to be the most guilty by the West during the war, but now apparently, the only reason people are asking for changes in BIH is because Bosniaks want more control and want to take over. No, the problem currently can't simply be the facts...that the country is not sustainable, its got too much govt, bureaucracy, corruption, it can't be that there are more politicians than citizens, it can't be about people not having their human rights, and it can't be something as unimportant as not being able to pass laws because of ethnic blocks..its just Bosniaks wanting it all. And somehow, with all that in your face, you guys have issues seeing which group is the one truly in denial.

It's just like judges. Judges interpret the law, they don't make it. Their opinion does not matter. If it did, we would have all kinds of messed up laws. In the same way, cops ENFORCE the law. They don't make it, their opinions on what is law and isn't does not matter..they are basically people that have agreed to stop any confrontation, no matter what their opinion on it is.

Exactly. Whoever says the same thing happens in the west is an idiot.
There is no rule of law in BIH that applies evenly. Cops are corrupt - many times do to their personal anger/issues they take it out on civilians. Sometimes people pay them off..again, nobody knows about it. Nothing happens to them. Many are biased and treat other ethnic groups worse. Some are against women, gays, and they don't protect those populations the same way as everyone else. All of that is wrong and no it does not happen in the west.
