This is for all the lojave poturice & cynical Serbs who thought Dodik was just out to get votes...
RS can't be doing this without Russian backing. They've sold almost all firms to Russia, so Moscow must be calling the shots. After independence, Serbs can sit back & watch the bosniaks & croats slaughter one another over Herceg-Bosna, while Russia starts building bases in RS & Serbia while the EU stands by in shock like they did with Georgia.

It would be nice but I doubt he is serious about it. He has been parroting the same line for years and its merely a populist ploy.

Dodik talks alot, I don't think he has the balls for much though. However if he's forced into attempting this, it will be a s**tstorm. Serbs don't have many friends other then Russia as usual, whilemostof the West is for a BiH in one piece like it always was. And they constantly talk about abolishing entities, and in return that's why Dodik constantly threatens his stuff.

BANJA LUKA: Bosnian Serb lawmakers yesterday demanded the right to call a referendum on secession from Bosnia-Herzegovina, underlining doubts about the Balkan state’s EU entry prospects.
Ignoring warnings from Western diplomats to halt their separatist rhetoric, an emergency session of the Serb regional parliament also passed a second resolution designed to increase the autonomy of Serb areas from the central government.
Although the non-binding resolutions do not have the force of law, they reflected a deepening feud between the leaders of the Serb Republic and Muslim-Croat Federation, the regions that make up Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In a report approved by Serb deputies, Serb Republic President Rajko Kuzmanovic called for lawmakers to “use all legal and political means, including the right to a referendum of the citizens of Serb Republic, to defend its legitimate interests and preserve the identity confirmed in the Dayton accords.”
The Bosnia Serb parliament called the emergency session to debate a response to recent sharp criticism of the Serb region by Silajdzic, and what Serbs see as the “radicalisation of political and inter-ethnic relations in the country”.
In his report, Kuzmanovic also urged the deputies to regard any moves by Bosnia’s central institutions or the international community to curtail the region’s authority as jeopardising its “constitutional position”.
Serb lawmakers passed a resolution in February that demanded the right to call a referendum on independence should a majority of EU countries recognise Serbia’s breakaway region Kosovo as independent, she added.
Western diplomats have warned Bosnian Serb leaders to abandon separatist rhetoric, which undermines the central state.
