Kosovo Serbs Demand Oliver Dulic Schedules an Urgent Parliament Session Without Delay
Kosovo and Metohija Community of Serbian Municipalities and Towns called on Serbian Parliament President Oliver Dulic to urgently schedule National Assembly Session, already requested by the Serbian Premier and the greatest majority of MPs (144 members of the Parliament), that would enable debate on the further strategy for the defense of Kosovo-Metohija as an inalienable part of Serbia.
In a session held in Kosovska Mitrovica, Community deputies assessed that a postponement of debates in the Serbian Parliament about these top priority national issues would give an impetus to Albanian separatists to grab a part of Serbia's territory.
Oliver Dulic, President of the Serbian Parliament from Tadic's party, has been playing with the fate of Serbia for the past few days and engaging in extortion tactics, by refusing to schedule the urgent Parliament session, in order to force Premier Kostunica to ascent to Tadic's Yellows and G17 Plus ministers' demand for government to approve signing of the EU pact.
Kosovo Serbs Firmly Against EU Mission
Serbian Kosovo Community representatives agreed in the conclusion that a possible signing of an accord with the EU would be an act of treason and directly undermine the survival of Serbs in the province.
They pointed out that for Kosovo Serbs the arrival of a EU mission to Kosovo is unacceptable, as it constitutes an attempt to implement the rejected Ahtisaari plan of "supervised independence" of Serbian Kosovo-Metohija province.
"In the event that such a mission is nevertheless sent to the southern Serbian province, Serbs will obstruct and boycott its presence and activity," it was concluded in a session of the Community of Serbian municipalities and towns in Kosovo and Metohija.
Serbian Parliament of Kosovo-Metohija
The Community confirmed that there is no separate resolving of the fate of northern Kosovo in relation to other parts of the province in which Serbs live, because all Serbs are part of the same national corps whose state is Serbia.
The Community of Serbian Municipalities and Towns in Kosovo and Metohija at its session in Kosovska Mitrovica adopted also a proposal that the body be upgraded to a Serbian Parliament of Kosovo and Metohija, which is expected to be formed on February 15.
Extreme Separatist Wing of Kosovo Albanians Also Against EU Mission
Kosovo Albanian members and supporters of the extreme separatist Self-Determination movement, whose leader Albin Kurti is very popular among the Kosovo Albanian youth and constantly imprisoned by the Thaci/Ceku thugs, on Wednesday wrote graffiti against arrival of the European Union mission in Kosovo and Metohija on walls of public institutions and apartment buildings.
The Movement said in a statement released on the occasion of the activity that "the EU mission is another UNMIK, whose political force will directly serve to limit our freedoms."
