Bosnian Wahabis are currently planning to assassinate Bosnian politicians who are alerting the public of this growing terror movement that may soon become the dominant political force among Bosnian Muslims, warns Bosnian Muslim terror expert Dzevad Galijasevic.
“Today, the number of Wahabis [in Bosnia] is around 100,000 and this movement threatens to become a real peoples movement of all Muslims in Bosnia,” says Galijasevic.
Galijasevic was a former mayor of Bosnian town of Maglaj and an author of a book on terrorism and presence of al-Qaeda in Bosnia.
“It is no secret that Wahabis are grouped around Zenica, Travnik, Brcko, Maglaj and Sarejevo. But it is a secret because no one from the security agencies did not prevent their grouping,” says Galijasevic.
For this, Galijasevic faults current security chief in Bosnia Tarik Sadovic who, says Galijasevic, has “skillfully hid this information from the international officials and sold them a fog that Bosnia allegedly has no problem with the Islamic fundamentalists.”
Based on the Dayton Accords that ended the war in Bosnia in 1995, Bosnian Muslim government was suppose to deport jihadists from Middle East who were domiciled, married and had children in Bosnia. Several of these Bosnian citizens, known as the Algerian group, are in Guantanamo for Islamic terrorism.
“Nobody tried to remove them after the war,” says Galijasevic.
Galijasevic says that Wahabis in Bosnia are planning to kill the Serb Prime Minister Milorad Dodik because he is critical of Tarik Sadovic.
Galijasevic also says that Wahabis are planning to kill the leader of a Bosnian Muslim political party, Sulejman Tihic. Tihic is critical of Wahabis because they stand in the way of EU integration for Bosnia.
Galijasevic says that Serbia should also be on a lookout for Wahabi terror attacks particularly from Serbia’s Raska region that Muslims refer to as Sandzak.
“Wahabis in Sandzak have a huge influence on Wahabis in Bosnia and they will, assuredly, in the coming period ask for their help in preparation for terror attacks on territory of Serbia, in order to strengthen their battle for independence of Sandzak,” says Galijasevic.
15 Wahabis are currently on trial in Serbia.
