BELGRADE -- The mission for establishing the level of cooperation with the Hague Tribunal will bring nothing new until Ratko Mladiæ has been arrested, says the Dutch FM.

Maxim Verhagen said today that Holland would support Serbia's EU integration once all the conditions had been met, the most pressing of which was full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. “The Hague Prosecution is the best address to contact to gauge whether Serbia is cooperating fully or not,” he said.
The minister explained that Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz’s appraisal of Belgrade’s cooperation with the Hague was always welcome, even when it came prior to his regular report to the UN Security Council.
“We’re ready to help Serbia in achieving full cooperation with the Tribunal and I’m ready to discuss the next steps,” he said.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremiæ invited EU officials to send a mission to Serbia and see for themselves that Belgrade was cooperating with the Hague Tribunal.
Jeremiæ repeated that the government’s strategic goal in 2009 was to make progress in European integration. He said that the government’s priority was Hague cooperation, after meeting with colleagues in Brussels yesterday.
He said that Belgrade would invest maximum efforts to wrap up cooperation.
“Serbia calls on all European Union member-states to come to our country and to see first-hand that Serbia is doing all it can regarding European Union membership,” Jeremiæ said.
“We are cooperating well with [Hague Chief] Prosecutor Brammertz and he is cooperation with us, the international community is regularly reporting on our cooperation with the Tribunal, and he has done an excellent job, and we will continue to cooperate with him. But, I think that the EU needs to help us and see for itself that we are doing all we can in terms of Hague cooperation,” the minister said.
“We have nothing to hide, that is why I am inviting you to come to Serbia and see our efforts for your own eyes,” he added.
