And resolution 1244 is the reason why 1514 won't be implemented.

Yeah, thats why the status question is moved to EU level That means nothing. The UN is trying to leave Kosovo and the EU taking a role in status solution is part of this. Afterall what ever happens UNMIK will be replaced by UNMIK. That resolution has never been used and is unimplementable.

Russia and China VETO's. Resolution is down. Self Determination is one thing but Territorial integrity and in respect with borders and sovereignty of a state is another thing.

Self Determination is one thing but Territorial integrity and in respect with borders and sovereignty of a state is another thing. self-determiniation is an ideal that is mentioned in international law. Self-determination is not implemented mainly because it is unimplementable and is an ideal not an actuality of international law.

Radovic,
What more can you tell us? Do Kosovo Albanians have a chance of making it possible to gain independence through legal means?

Radovic, What more can you tell us? Do Kosovo Albanians have a chance of making it possible to gain independence through legal means? Yes. Should Serbia agree to allow independence. That is in reality the only legal method unless the west acts unilaterally and makes a serious break with international law that has existed since the Peace of Westphalia. I doubt Serbia will agree to independence unless the west were to promise: 30billion-100 billion for damage as a result of the bombing or RS independence.

I wouldn't surprised if they agreed due to a large lump sum payment of money....to me kosovo is priceless, other parts may have a dollar sign but kosovo no.
