Not just Romania... the way things stand, it looks like Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic and Turkey are pretty much out of it... all these teams were in the last World Cup if I am not mistaken. A lot of good teams won't make it.

Bice gusto! Izmedju nas i Francuza je. Najvaznije je da ne kiksnemo u ostalim utakmicama, a protiv Francuza u Beogradu sta bude nek bude (ta utakmica treba da odluci prvo mesto).

Remaining games for Serbia
Austria (H) Faroe Islands (A) France (H) Romania (H) Lithuania (A)
For France
Faroe Islands (A) Romania (H) Serbia (A) Faroe Islands (H) Austria (H)
They're guranteed another 6 points V Faroe, certainly get a result against Austria. Romania will be a tight one, hoping the Roms just defend and go for a 0-0. And then against Serbia......na Marakani. Too hard to call. But I remain optimistic.

Austria misses 4 regulars against Serbia
VIENNA (AP) - Austria will miss four regular starters because of injuries for the team's World Cup qualifier against Serbia next week.
Captain Emanuel Pogatetz, midfielders Christian Fuchs and Christoph Leitgeb, and striker Marko Arnautovic were all missing from the 23-man squad announced Tuesday by coach Dietmar Constantini.
The match in Belgrade on June 6 is Austria's second under Constantini, who took over from Karel Bruckner in March. Austria beat Romania 2-1 on April 1.
Panathinaikos playmaker and former team captain Andreas Ivanschitz was overlooked again, while Spartak Moscow defender Martin Stranzl returned after being dropped for the Romania game.
Constantini added two newcomers in midfielders Ekrem Dag (Besiktas) and Jakob Jantscher (Sturm Graz).
Austria has seven points from five matches in World Cup qualifying Group 7, which also includes France, Lithuania and the Faeroe Islands.

Faroe Islands are too strong for you. Is there any particular reason why this piece of garbage is granted mod status?

World Cup 2010 Europe - Group 7: Serbia vs Austria
Serbia enter this match from the top of group 7 and they are hot favourites to win this match. Radomir Antic’s team have been in remarkable form lately and they should have no problems beating weakened Austria.
Serbia enter the match on a high
Serbia are a completely different team since Radomir Antic took over the reigns and they are playing extremely well under the new boss. The most important thing the new coach did was to restore the faith in the team and now the national team have the backing of the whole nation. The great atmosphere Antic has created in the team have helped Serbia win 4 of 5 group games and they are now the favourites to finish the campaign in first place. The Serbs have already knocked out Lithuania and Romania out of the race and the wins over Austria and Faroe Islands would give them a big boost before the final stage of the qualifying campaign. Boss Antic is delighted that most of his starters are playing on regular basis in their respective clubs and some of them are likely to be the stars of the next transfer window. Apart from the striker Nikola Zigic, who misses the game through suspension, Antic will have full squad to choose from and the hosts should have no problems winning this game. Ivanovic, Vidic, Stankovic, Krasic, Jovanovic and Pantelic are all world-class players and they are much better than their Austrian counterparts. Serbia have been in excellent form lately and we don’t see how an average side like Austria can stop them from winning this match.
Austria don’t have much to hope for
In spite of the impressive start of this qualifying campaign and the win over France, the Austrians quickly showed that they did not have the quality to match the best teams in the group and World Cup in South Africa will remain just a dream for them. Coach Karel Bruckner was sacked after the disappointing run of results although we don’t think that he could do much better with the team he had at his disposal. Dietmar Constantini was brought to replace him and his squad for the match against Romania proved that the new boss was focused on building the team for the future. Austria won the game against Romania, but only because their opponents were utterly disappointing and were missing several first team regulars. The new boss opted to leave his best player at the moment, Andreas Ivanschitz out of the Romania match and the Panathinaikos midfielder will miss this match as well. Another important player, Emanuel Pogatetz is out with injury, just like Arnautovic, Fuchs and Leitgeb. Austria would struggle against Serbia even if Constantini was able to field a full strength team, thus you can only imagine what Serbia will do to them in Belgrade.
Betting verdict
Serbia are slowly becoming one of the leading sides in Europe and they have already beaten full strength Austrian side away from home. They will now have much easier job against severely weakened visitors and Austria should be happy if they avoid a heavy defeat.

I don't think Austria will pose a threat to the Serbs, despite their impressive start against France in their qualifying campaign. Arguably their two best players Pogatetz and Ivanschitz will be missing from the team, severely weakening their midfield and already shaky defence. Serbia has to look out for Marco Janko who uses his tall frame to good effect, and has a useful scoring record in the Austrian League, other than that, I cannot see any danger coming from the Austrians. At least 2-0 to Serbia. I'll be cheering on the Austrians though ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Does that work for sure, Bob... did it for the last game? Worked well. There's usually a range of options to choose from (depending on the opponent - there is more of their national channels) Quality varies between the 200kps up to the 600kps+...so whatever suites your connection speed. televizijam.com/ is one of the Serbian ones based out of Toronto and it feeds into the RTS feed so it has Serb commentary. Decent coverage but during the last game the bloke managing it kept switching between the Serbia and Bosnia game...DURING gameplay, really annoying but eh....

ohhh i don't like that.
Team plays better as underdogs. Otherwise we fall into overconfidence way too easily.
