Hi ilirdardani, I created this so we can talk on a more defined structure. That being that this thread is SPECIFICALLY designed to rebute your 3 interesting points.

I'll reply in this one only if you keep the other thread open.

Why? The question was asked without knowing that Kosovo officially became a province of Yugoslavia in 1974.
If you want to debate Kosovo as an independent, non-Serbian nation, that's fine. But that wasn't the question of Soko's thread.
So no, it's not being reopened. Unless you want to have the last word there.

Even if I didn't like your version of the story, I didn't remove them, so what's the point of reopening the thread?

Man you people know how to pop off. Kosovo was in Yugoslavia because Yugoslavia was way more powerful than anyone in the Balkans, hence we took it, being the fact that nobody could do shit to stop us.

For the sake of debating? (version 1.00) Yeah, actually that's why this particular thread was opened. So here's what I said, as far as Insomniac's post was concerned; - Kosovars weren't forcibly kept, they were free to leave. You can ask them. - If you're going to ask anything at all... be sure to ask why they didn't go to Albania. - While you're at it, ask why many Albanian Albanians crossed the border into Kosovo (throughout the 1940s-1990s). Your reply; 1) Albanians were forced to leave from Southern Serbia as well as from Kosovo, had options of moving to Turkey and just a few of them to Albania (turkey and serbia had an agreement for that)
2) Question for you...why leave your homeland and go somewhere else?
3) If we take into account how many moved from Albania to Kosovo from 1940s to 1998 it would be less than 1000, trust me, Albania under communist regime let no one out and no one in. (one of the worst regimes on earth when it came to movement)So you seem to have missed the point of what I said. Kosovars remained in Kosovo because they enjoyed a much higher quality of life compared to Albania. Less than 1000 Albanians crossed the border into Kosovo? Even if there were 1,000,000 that crossed (which is still possible), do you think the communist gov't of Albania would ever admit to that? No. So why use the Alb gov't as a reference?
