Someone that represents 7.5% of Sarajevo could become major? However if he claims to be a true Bosnian and a Saralija as we can see he'd be perfect for the job.

I think we should accept him only if he declares himself a Bosniak catholic.

Why can't you just bloody accept him for whatever he is! Where I live I have a Chinese born mayor that loves this city. Who cares what he is as long as he can do the job.

Franjo Topic is a positive thinker, naturally he should return to his Bosniak roots, but even without that I think he would have a positive impact on the so called croats in BiH.

He's Bosnian for gods sake by nationality, Bosniak I don't think so. That is why I said that he should return to his Bosniak roots. And don’t get me wrong, I support the guy even if he claims to be a so called "croat" in BiH.

How can one return to their Bosniak roots when they were Croat in the first place. However this isn't the problem, this guy is all for Bosnia, he's Bosnian. So he would make a great mayor.

However this isn't the problem, this guy is all for Bosnia, he's Bosnian. So he would make a great mayor. You are right, also I think this would make it easier for the catholics to accept the SDA victory in Mostar.

He can't return to his Bosniak roots because 1)we have no idea if his ancestors were Bosnians or Croats 2) Why should he do something that dumb... I actually respect him more if he feels Croat and sees only Bosnia as his country. Nothing wrong with that, I wish there were more like him.

No offence tito but you're an idiot. My grandmother for the 10,000th time was not a Bosnjak. Her sister married a Bosnjak! Can we keep to the topic for once boze sacuvaj.
It's his country and it seems by that yutube report that people like him...in politics that's all you need!

To be honest Shmajser started the who his ancestors were thing. He is a Croat, that's all we know, and all we need to know about his ethnicity. I'd prefer him to many Bosniaks.

Somehow Croats hahahaha you're a joke, what pre ottoman history does Bosnia really have? Something that only goes as far back as let's say the 13-15th century...whilst 5 hundred years earlier a certain King was uniting Dalmatia, Pannonia which included 60-80% of modern day Bosnia etc under a new Croatrian Kingdom. As I said tito you're a joke.

You are a joke, thank God today you see yourself as a Croat.
So...what? The Romans incorporated Bosnia in their Empire as well, so did the Turks etc.
