Scientific investigations of the site show there is no pyramid. Additionally, scientists have criticised the Bosnian authorities for supporting the pyramid claim saying, "This scheme is a cruel hoax on an unsuspecting public and has no place in the world of genuine science." - Declaration from the European Association of Archaeologists

All the states in the Balkans have ties to the old world that hasn't yet even been discovered. The fact of the matter is that Europeans feel like shitheads for not exploring the area first. They discovered the Butmir Culture in Sarajevo and kind of stopped looking elsewhere since none of them thought to look elsewhere. Egyptian Professor Nabil Swelim of Cairo-a triple PhD in Egyptology and Archaeology, and the discoverer of four pyramids in Egypt, will serve as the Chairman and President of the Conference. Dr. Swelim will be joined by fellow Chairmen, Professor Oleg Khavroshkin, from the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences in Moscow and Dr. Ivan Simatovic, of Zagreb, Croatia. The Co-Chairmen Committee will be comprised of professors and professionals in archaeology, Egyptology, geology, mathematics and other sciences from such diverse countries as Egypt, Russia, Poland, Hungary, UK, Germany, Brazil, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the USA, including renowned Egyptologist, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Aly, Archeological Geologist, Dr. Aly Abdullah Barakat, and Mr. Philip Coppens, author of book The New Pyramid Age. www.bosnian-pyramid.com/news.phpYou guys should really visit the site before you make any claims. You might change your mind and.. *gasp* think for yourself.

I'd like to go see em' one day. I heard the pyramids were just rock formations but who said anything about insulting Bosnian culture just because the pyramids might be a sham? I say its ethical to come out with the truth but if people still derive utility off visiting the site and maybe are willing to pay for it, more power to the entrepreneurs marketing the pyramids.
I believe the Croats did the same thing with the Medjugorje site. They seem to be doing rather well with that.

Not even the pope and the Vatican agree with it. Its just a marketing sham, pyramids should also be the same. At least this time its not centered around one particular religious group, this is for all those who live in BiH and surrounding areas.

Well I think its more about the monks earning profit since their budget is limited from Rome. However, I think the sell is a ingenious and a true display of sound entrepreneurship. In the business sense, whether the sightings were authentic or not matters little, it was the rapid growth the followed thanks to brilliant entrepreneurship. That region of Bosnia (Herzegovina) went from being a dust bowl to arguably the most prosperous region per capita in Bosnia today. ( I need a source to confirm the capital wealth)

It is the Bosniak version of the visions of medagorje only this hoax isn't nearly as well produced. It would be kool if it was true, but it is doubtful. I flew with that guy "the Bosnian Indiana Jones" back from Sarajevo to Italy a couple of years ago... I thought he was a clown with his gay hat in stuff... He seemed really smug and proud of himself.
