Don't make me laugh. Greece is the leader of the Balkans. Economic take overs are left and right. This has been the reality in the past 15-20 years. Better be nice to the Greeks. Albania could not take on defenceless Moldova if they wanted to. Respect the rights of the Greeks up there or the Greeks will do a dance around you.

dont talk bullshiiit here....
Greeks of Albania in Himara Region proposed to D/Foreign Minister of Greece to implement the agreement for tow citizenship of Greeks in Albania, to have the rights to vote in Greece and to have their autonomy inside Albanian territory.
According to the Greek Lobby of USA actually the number of Greeks of Albania who most part live in Greece, is about 600 thousand, when Tirana is categorical against, but the Albanian government has failed to make the general counting population and continues to censure the estimates about the minority groups.

EU sacrificed the Greek minority a long time ago, along with all other Balkan minorities.

Like when they let Serbia massacre you or Greece the Chams in 45? Some things comes in 3's.... so be careful.... the Americans have an agenda..... to sink the world into a war..... You got he Russians to the east of you and Greece to the bottom...... be nice ..be civil.... We got into the E.U. nearly 30 years ago when we were dirt poor.... and couldn't stand on our own two feet.... but we were deemed more important than a whole of other larger European countries.... so STFU when it comes to this subject... when the time comes, if Albania is not to our liking we will veto them...and it will stand..and you will cry... thats life you cried before..so some more won't matter.

Who says I want EU. I wish Greece would veto and keep Albania out... it would be a blessing. Unfortunately EU has a plan, and that is Balkan integration in the system to make sure its the main influence in the area. Its for that reason that minor ethnic groups within the system have to be told to stay quiet for the sake of it. I trust America far more then EU. Stop making threats over the internet, your not a diplomat nor anyone with any power. Your a ignorant little internet warrior. Oh and btw, Greece should look to its right, because we have close friends as well. In 97, when Albania was in turmoil and Greece wanted to put troops in, guess who threatened Greece into not acting? Turkey has got our back.

You know what? I hate being threatened...I always have liked the free spirit of people and nations...now, if we cried so far, we won't cry anymore. We'll stop. Because somehow doesn't matter that much entering EU in 25 years...by that time, the EU may even not exist. So, if EU wants Albania, it should take it now. If not, then we have lived without it since forever and we will keep living without it. Between the hope that Albania may join EU after 20 years and the present I prefer the last one. As I said, I don't like EU to threaten Albania and if EU doesn't plan to accept Albania NOW, who cares if Albania never joins in the end? As Toskaliku said and as you Greek guys are saying: those Greek minorities in Albania must have to have Albanian as their primary language. If not, then they will never integrate and, Canaris, it'll be them who will cry....

It's foolish to believe one country can dish out punishment on another and be immune to it themselves. Very sad the TurkAlbanians terrorize the local Greek population who has lived there for thousands of years. But the time is coming Albanians....so be careful because maybe this time your big dady will not help you...

We will all be waiting speedy. LOL! Better hurry though, take too long and whats left of the Greeks in Albania will disappear with the old folks guarding the remaining villages. ;D As I said before, the level of greek students in the villages in the south is so low now that the ratio of Student-Teacher is almost 1:1 or 2:1. And there are not too many grades in these schools. As for TurkoAlbanians. The close-friendship shared between Turks and Albanians will last a long while and so long as it is there, Greece wont try and do anything that your proposing to Albania, because you know very well that so long as Greece pushes "North Epirus" Turkey will push "Western Thrace"...

The simple fact that the "north epirus" issue seems to only be held by worthless and useless "society" groups, pretty much centered around the Epirotic societies, while the Greek govt has on the whole ignored the issue and in fact adjusted to the idea that Greeks from Albania are leaving for Greece as the remains of the community continues to die shows either: 1- Apprehensiveness to bring the issue up for fear of jeopardizing the EU-wide integration plan. (Keep in mind the EU has also done nothing for the return of expelled Serbs from Croatia and doesnt say anything to Slovakia and its continual downplaying of the Hungarian minority, among many other states with minorities. Not to mention that EU ethnic distribution maps often show Greece with Albanians rather then vice versa ) 2-Awareness of its own troubles in Thracian zone. Or perhaps a conscious plan to accept Greeks rather then immigrants the calm population drop and to accept ethnic kin rather then outside immigrants(reason I say this is that in 1991, Greece immediately started granting visas to those of Greek background first)

You treat Turkey like it is an important country LOL ! They are the typical coward opportunistic society. You have no idea how much we want them to attack us, so we can finish them once it for all where we left off at 1922..... ;D

Certainly Russia and America seem to think so and both try hard to keep(or get it) it on their side. You on the other hand have relied on the backbone of the EU to get things done. As for finishing what you left off in 1922? Does that mean that Turkey will be liberating Salonica? As I stated, Turkey's threat was enough to make Greece think twice about moving into Albania during 97. Plus, though I dont see a war ever happening between you two, to say that a nation of over 70 million and rising, with the ability to mobilize more people then your entire population is 'not important', then you are living in dreams of grandeur...

They are still are opportunistic cowards with a capital C. Just praise Turks for giving you your current traditions and customs and keep quiet on important matters you know nothing of.
