They didn't have nationalities during Alexander's era but if he was anything then he was a Greek. He was a Macedon which is a subgroup of Greek and his homeland is in modern day Greece.

The only way to describe you Libo is that you are trash. You have absolutely no idea how to speak with anyone who is not Albanian and nearly every post I read of yours is extremely offensive. Was it necessary to write "Serb inbred?" Let me just remind you that your an Albanian!!! Dont go there!!! Mohamad, Akbar, Hasani, Fisniki, Mentor or whatever your real name is.

The Makedonians did not have names like Mohamad, Fisniki, Hasani, Hashim, Mentor, or any of these Turk sounding names. Okay? Deep down I think you know who your truly the descendants of and that is why you try so hard to insult the Greeks and Serbs so much. Your foaming at the mouth with jealousy and hatred. Albania is a dump and it produced a turd like you. What a shame.
Talk about a modern invention??? A nation full of Muslims with Turkish sounding names, Turkish customs, claiming descendancy from Illyrians AND a history where they are unmentioned until the year 1200 AD!!!! UNHEARD OF LIBO AND REX???!!!!!

Rex, 1. CHRYSANTHOS Gender: Masculine
Usage: Greek, Ancient Greek
Other Scripts: ×ñõóáíèïò (Ancient Greek) Means "golden flower" from Greek ÷ñõóïò (chrysos) "golden" combined with áíèïò (anthos) "flower". This name was borne by a semi-legendary 3rd-century Egyptian saint.
2.
GEORGE Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, Romanian
Pronounced: JORJ (English) [key] From the Greek name Ãåùñãéïò (Georgios) which was derived from the Greek word ãåùñãïò (georgos) meaning "farmer, earthworker", itself derived from the elements ãç (ge) "earth" and åñãïí (ergon) "work". Saint George was a 3rd-century Roman soldier from Palestine who was martyred during the persecutions of emperor Diocletian. Later legends describe his defeat of a dragon, with which he was often depicted in medieval art. Initially Saint George was primarily revered by Eastern Christians, but returning crusaders brought stories of him to Western Europe and he became the patron of England, Portugal and C 3.
ALEXANDER Gender: Masculine
Usage: English, German, Dutch, Hungarian, Slovak, Greek Mythology (Latinized)
Pronounced: al-əg-ZAN-dər (English), ah-lek-SAHN-der (German), ah-luk-SAHN-dur (Dutch) [key] Latinized form of the Greek name Áëåîáíäñïò (Alexandros), which meant "defending men" from Greek áëåîù (alexo) "to defend, help" and áíçñ (aner) "man" (genitive áíäñïò). In Greek mythology this was another name of the hero Paris, and it also belongs to several characters in the New Testament. However, the most famous bearer was Alexander the Great, King of Macedon. In the 4th century BC he built a huge empire out of Greece, Egypt, Persia, and parts of India. Due to his fame, and later medieval tales involving him, use of his name spread throughout Europe.
I could find a couple, but I am not going to search for all because I did not find their origins right off the bat, but Rex you were wrong about George and Chris. Other names may be additions but isnt that natural to add names to your listings of people as time goes on? In any matter the names are not Turkish which I am proud.

TAKIS Gender: Masculine
Usage: Greek
Other Scripts: Ôáêçò (Greek) Short form of PANAGIOTAKIS
------------------------------- PANAGIOTIS Gender: Masculine
Usage: Greek
Other Scripts: Ðáíáãéùôçò (Greek) Means "all holy", derived from Greek ðáí (pan) "all" combined with ‘áãéïò (hagios) "holy".
