greek - if you truly believe that, and think that albanians have nordic genes, then the serbs are not from the balkans at all, considering 65% of the serbs look like nordics

uauuuuu This article seems to oppose completely Wilkes and his theory that "Albanians are short and Dark therefore they have nothing in common with Illyrians, who were tall and blond"!!! PS: how come? I have grown up in Albania and most Albanians look Mediterranean

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. He posted the research. Than a view that he liked sooooooo much which is this and is not true:
First, we have no strong historical 'me'. We had five centuries under Turkish occupation, and at that time, we had a Turkish identity, not an Albanian identity, except for our language. We as Albanians didn’t have a real history during these five centuries. Our history was linked to the Turkish Empire. This is one of the reasons I could say that our nationalism started very late... Traditionally, the society was organized into clans, families, tribes. And our Christian law, the so-called Canon of Lek Dukagjini was called by one of the popes the least Christian law in the world. It was firmly linked to the blood feud. And Albanians could defend only their own house, their own family, their own tribe, and they didn't care about others." By Fatos Lubonja -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And than the cherry on top, his "how I want world to be":
Clearly Albanians are a foreign mixture of people. Racially connected to Northern Europeans slightly Bastardized by other nations and have a strong connection with Turkish Culture.
- If u have 78% same genes its NOT a mixture. Yes is a foreign people, not to balkan but to YOU. We are saying this all day. We are different we are diferent we are different.
And the strong connection to turkish culture? ahahahahaha. Find it in here, if any. where is it?

^ Edit. Better act now rather then later, as displayed at another topic. Things can get out of hand. Keep it civil as possible.

Fair enough.
That was friendly, i use it a lot here with greek friends.
There is one who says always the phrase "pustiaaaaaaaaaaaaa" i didnt let it go so i named him: Pustias.
Anyway, did u read "Captain Mixalis" of Kazantzakis?
The organisation of the cretans was similiar to north albs (clans, tribes and everything) And they are veryy similiars nowadays too. To Lubonja, saying that we didnt have historical "me" is like saying the same thing to cretans.
Can u say that for cretans? I dont think so.

the Pelasgians built it all .... They don't exist anymore; they assimilated with the rest of the Greeks. Maybe you should too if you want a brighter future in the Balkans. ;D

What is it to you? The Pelasgians are racially the same as modern Greeks they are of Mediterranean stock unlike you... They are proto Greeks... The Pelasgians are one of the great Mediterranean tribes... Your Barbaric Nordic ancestors are unable to create any form of Civilization without Mediterranean influence...

The question of the origin of the albanians is disputed and is still a matter of controversy among the ethnologists Albanians are people who speak Albanian, Though the vocabulary contains some Greek, Latin, Slavic and Turkish words, All the Turkish PM were of Albanian Origin

Just for kicks. The opening of the first paragraph “Of the Hellenic Race” states:
Paragraph I. – Of the country and people of Greece.
A line drawn from the Ambracian to the Maliac gulf, separates the primitive land of the Greeks from the countries immediately to the northward of it, namely, from Epirus and Macedonia.
…
That just confined Greece to where it should be confined, and not favored with post-Ottoman Albanian land for being Christian.
