sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/soccer/03/10/ghana.racism/Ghanasoccernet reports that Ghanaian player Solomon Opoku was slightly injured in a racist attack in Serbia. The 20-year-old was on trial with central Serbian side Borac Cacak at the time of his attack. "I thought it was a prank but when I turned round I realized it was a group of Borac fans, who started kicking me and shouting that they hate blacks. "My friends picked me up and a policeman also came along, they protected me and took me to hospital. I just want to go home as soon as possible." Borac fans have been involved in racist incidents before, abusing Zimbabwean striker Mike Tamwanjira, who left the club after suffering from a barrage of insults. ------ VERY INTERESTING..., considering serbs are black as well..

Another pathetic attempts by Albanians to portray Serbs in a negative light. Hence, why they changed the title more to make it stick oput more.
also. I'd like to point out the following:
Serbia Charges Four Over Racist Attack Email a friend Save article Print article Increase text size Decrease text size Digg this 11 March 2008 Cacak _ Criminal charges have been filed against four men accused of attacking a Ghana-born footballer last week, a judge in Serbia's southwestern town of Cacak said Tuesday.
“The men were charged with instigating national, religious and racial hatred,” Branislav Stanic, a investigative judge in charge of the case told Balkan Insight.
Stanic said he ordered a 30 day pre-trial denention with a possibility of an extension against the four. If convicted the four could face up to eight years in jail.
Under Serbian law, the police collects evidence, while investigative judges conduct investigations. Soloman Opaka, 20, was attacked in Cacak, 120 kilometres southwest of Belgrade, after a 4-1 game between his Borac side and Belgrade’s Bezanija, both members of Serbia’s top Meridian Super League. "They attacked him (Opaka) ... screaming 'Kill the nigger,' and 'What are you doing here nigger’," Stanic said. Opaka was transferred to a local hospital with multiple bruises and concussion.
The management at Borac soccer club condemned the incident. Its head, Vojislav Ilic who is also Cacak’s mayor said he “wants to himself distance from such vandalism that damages not only the club but the town itself.”
He announced punitive measures against club’s most extreme fans. This is second similar attack on Africa-born players in Cacak, a town of 80,000. In 2006, Borac fans wearing white hoods, resembling those of the notorious racist Ku Klux Klan organization of the United States, chanted racist slogans against Zimbabwean player Mike Tamvanyera. Tamvanyera left Cacak while court proceedings against people charged with instigating racial hatred are still ongoing.
After that incident, Borac banned hardline fans from the stadium and only allowed them to attend matches since last Saturday. The fans attacked Opaka the same day. Racially and ethnically motivated attacks by nationalist and skinhead organisations and groups in Serbia have surged in recent years, targeting ethnic and religious minorities.

If albaniansoul is trying to prove a point with this post, I'd like him to explain the kidnapping, torturing and rape of a Cameroonian citizen by Albanian gastarbeiters in Greece.

I found this piece of news, seems Albanians are attacking Indian nationals in Kosovo.

Another thing to throw in albanian souls face is what other black players have said about Serbia: But their Ecuadorian midfielder, Segundo Castillo, who is himself black, said: "I know there were some talks on that issue, but this is my second year in Serbia and I have never faced any kind of racial abuse, neither in stadiums nor on the streets of Belgrade. "In fact, I'm enjoying myself here." "That's a really strange story. Red Star fans are not racist. Look at me, I'm black and those same Red Star supporters voted me as the club's best player last season. "So I think we should put that aside and focus just on football, as all of us here are just interested in that. " "We are in front of an awesome but also difficult match." His team-mate and compatriot, Franklin Salas, echoed Castillo's views. "I came to Red Star this summer because of two things," he said. "This famous club wants to play in the Champions League and, secondly, Castillo praised both the city and the fans. "I've seen he was right. I was welcomed here like never before and I can see that this club can qualify for the group stages of the Champions League." news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/6965826.stmFranklin Salas. Segundo Castillo. I also like this statement that Scoonie Penn (a black from America) had to say: You played in Belgrade last year. It is said that Serbia can be a dangerous country, especially for American people. How was playing there? SP: It was great. I had a great time. The fans were unbelievable. I don't think I've ever played in front of fans like that. They were unbelievable. As far as being dangerous, I don't know. When I met with other Americans, they were always telling they were having a great time there, too. Was Belgrade better than the NBDL? SP: Well, I played in the NBDL only for a while. I returned to the United States and ended up playing in the NBDL for a while. It was another experience for me, but Europe is a much better situation. hoopshype.com/interviews/penn_sierra.htm

If you look at that pic closely... it looks like he feels very unconfortable and is like he is being forced anyone get what i mean? And if you look closely he looks like a caricature of a blackman. Or if you read closely you realized Superalbanian has no intelligent response.

I changed the title, yes of course. Please tell me how I made it any worse "Ghanaian racially attacked in Serbia" is the title, is mine any worse? Ape. Also what happends with black people in Greece by Albanians is irrelevant. This is by Serbians in Serbia. Not Albanians in albania or Kosova. That would be relevant.

Most countries have isolated incidents of violence against minorities. Albanians are the only ones who have managed to turn attacks against minorities into a national pastime.
