"Novi Pazar pastaj ishte ende në Turqi (deri në 1912). Ju mund njoftim kryesisht SHQIPE kostumesh popullore, për shkak se shqiptarët e Sanxhakut Lindjen zgjidhet pas 1700. G., por gjatë kohës që ata ishin të konvertohet në boshnjakė, edhe pse e tyre (Albanian) kostum mbetur. "

Yea i know im not disputing the fact that camera's were not invented. It's just that during that time they were in primitive form. It's pretty interesting such an old footage.

All of southern Serbia used to be majority Albanian, but throughout centuries, were pushed out to Kosovo (as well as to Turkey).
If you guys read the other thread I had opened you would understand it better.

Very cool Ilir, and the people's costumes cannot be mistaken. The Albanians in the Sanjak area were quite numerous before. Some of them descended from highlanders, especially of the Kelmendi clan, which was displaced by Hudaverdi pasha in 1700 from Kelmend to Peshter, Sanjak. A while later, the exiled clansmen decided to return, and 400 armed men and 300 of their armed wives fought their way back through an army of 6,000 Turks back to their home mountains. But many stayed and continued living in Sanjak, eventually being assimilated into Slavs.
Well, I don't know about majority, but we definetely made up a large percentage of the overall population. When Serbia emerged as a state, it initiated a "cleansing" project which displaced all Albanians from Southern Serbia and beyond to Kosova, Macedonia, Albania and even Turkey. They are known as "muhaxher".
