I think we in Balkans greatly emphasize that we were crucial in defeating Ottomans. When reality was different given a rise in Western European powers. Colonialism. And all factors.

Yup. And they had their own share of fault on their demise.

Albanians werent responsible nor did they involve themselves with that fall. We, Albanians, remained on the whole steadfastly loyal to Ottomanism and our national leaders even recognized that. Read our basic outline in Frasheri's 'Albania, how it is, how it was, how it will be'. Albanians from Ismail Qemali to the Frasheris, to Gucia to Topulli... they all reaffirmed their loyalty to the Ottoman realm at one point or another.
Why do you think we waiting until finally we knew that it was hopeless? Ottoman control in Albania had broken down in the 18th century, yet we waited until the last possible day to break away? WHy? Because our population felt at home in it...
We were separated from the Ottoman Empire, forced out of it largely kicking and screaming.

Albanians need a higher power to feel superior. Simple as that.

Albanians need a higher power to feel superior. Simple as that. Not all Albanians but many, surely this moron Todhri Bej thinks its cool to be collaborator, join the biggest bully on the block is honorable. Standing up and fighting is being a pussy. He will probably volunteer when govt asks him to go to FEMA camp. Have fun at the FEMA concentration camp. Go to youtube and type FEMA camps or FEMA coffins.

Who the hell are you? As for 'collaborators', as your disparagingly call them, are out ancestors, who worked together on a common goal... who fought for a home where all were treated like equals:
Nijazi Bey (Albanian Ottoman official from southern Albania):
We are working for a common goal, the equality of all our brothers, be they Albanian, Turk, Vlach, Greek, Serb.
