Happy Easters, gezuar pashket, per shume vjet pashket, krishti u ngjall vertet u ngjall. I was celebrating Easters last night in Albanian Orthodox Church St Nikola's in Chicago Il. Some facts: - The church was built by alb immigrants from villages of Sinica, Qyteza and Dardha in 1962 . (so I was told by participants in service). These villages are located in Korca district. Belushi brothers come from these area. (their parants) - The priest is from Siria - Service is held in Albanian and English - The American flag and Albanian one were displayed in front. - Many young people attanded service - "christ alive" was said in three languages, english albanian and greek (christos anesti)

Happy Eastern to those Albanians that were strong enough to remain faithful to their Christian religion.

Happy Eastern to those Albanians that were strong enough to remain faithful to their Christian religion. Their glory is twofold. They also managed to preserve their ancient language and not replace it with a form of vulgar Latin.
