Actually, you'd be surprised, but its one of the most maneuverable and lightest trainers in the world. It's exactly what Croatia needs for its pilots. A smooth transition from the PC-9 Pilatus to the MiG-21Bis/BisK/UMD would be either the G-4 Super Galeb or the BAe Hawk. It's one of the smoothest rides, and believe me, its one of the best things to ever come out of Yugoslavia.

Even if my mate Lloyd, who maintains Sheik Mohamad's aircrafts was working on these... I wouldn't plant my ass down in one :-)

I don't like airplanes. They are too aerodynamical.

I wouldn't be seen dead in one of thoose lol. You are obviously blinded by your diaspora yugoslavia hatred that your limited and uneducated brain fails to see how much of*good plane the G4 Super galeb is/was. This aircraft was the top contender in the Joint Primary Training System program for the USAF and was highly praised by American test pilots who flew it. So next time before you open up your [edit] mouth, I suggest you do some reading about some of the top stuff Yugoslavia produced and show some respect to those who actually worked on it trying to make yugoslavia a better, safer and self sufficient place. Yugoslavia was also working on a new 4th Generation multirole combat aircraft with a all glass/digital c**kpit, fly by wire systems, look down shoot down radar...etc Unfortunately the project was canceled in 1991 just before production of the aircraft began due the wars. Have a read, you might learn something en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novi_Avion----- Easy with the attacks ok? No need to lose your cool. She's entitled to her opinion, no matter how much it lacks in the common sense department.
Last Warning. Thanks for the Cooperation bro, MiG.

^You my friend are a lost cause. I based my opinions, not on your judgements/assumptions of what you think my thoughts are politically. I made them on my Aviation training (yes I do hold a pilot's license, a CPL to be precise meaning I can fly commercial aircraft). Also, I really don't like the look of the plane, the age also...simple really.
Thanks for backing me MiG, but me... lack of common sense? Directed toward him; an instigator lol... One of the traits of obtaining a pilot's license is common sense, thanks very much!!! :-)

^ Fair enough that you have a pilots license, but you still should not bash the Super Galeb. It is, in respects to handling and maneuverability, as well as pilot ratings, better than even the Czech L-39/59 Albatross aircraft (Which is widely exported as a trainer). A very successful aircraft it would have become if it was not for the violent breakup of the Yugoslav Federation, but it is still not too late. From my first hand account of seeing it in action, and talking to the pilots, it handles like a dream. Maybe you should try it, before bashing it (Wouldn't that be common sense?).

I studied avation to transport people and cargo, not to be a part of a group/army that flies these types of aircraft for bad purposes...i.e logistical and to bomb towns...killing people :-) I admire many kinds of these aircraft, however I would never want to fly them. I thought about going into the Australian airforce for a brief moment...it was a very brief moment! I just couldn't pledge my allegiance to the Queen and go to Iraq i.t.d bez veze! Right now when I get time out of what I'm doing, I'd love to try out the roulettes...FUN!!! R.A.F roulettes...

^ Tacno.

I want to see them in action. I saw the aircraft and how they were painted back in 2007, and I knew there was talk of changing the name, just didn't know to what. Thanks Shonic.
