Montenegrins never "forced" albanians to change their names, either albanians did it on their own accord, or they were just montenegrins who were albanized and changed their names back after the ottoman rule.

I have a hard time believing that. I know in Macedonia my parents had their last name changed out of nowhere. My mother actually found out on the first day of highschool and noticed that a "Ski" was added to her last name on her class schedule. |

As a matter of fact, i think Albanians should befriend Greeks in the Macedonia issue.but that would require siding with the greeks, thats anathema. "Macedonia" issue ? Most of the name changes in ex yugo occured in komunas wich the commoner villager had no idea until he neded to renew his id or some other pappers.
If they wrote you as kukic you could not claim your land as kuka.
This was reality in those days no matter what some people say. Albanized montenegros ahahh stop that bullshit your not convicing anybody.

Or simply slavized Albanians? I know plenty of Albanians from back home where they say their grandparents were forced to add -vic on their surname, although they blame Serbs and not Montenegrins. ps. Who's brilliant idea was to add Rugovas flag for this section? |
